As expected, President Bush announced his economic stimulus plan today in Chicago, and surprised many with how comprehensive and 'bold' it was. In the plan, 92 million taxpayers would receive, on average, a tax cut of $1,083 in 2003. The plan would also adjust the tax rates to 10%, 15%, 25%, 28%, 33%, 35%. Also today, the new Republican Senate majority was sworn in, and their first priority was to extend unemployment benefits, a plan the President supports. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I think Dubya's secret message in the pointed finger is...."keep it up and I give you a different one"

I agree with you 100%! President Bush will keep the comets flying at them so fast they won't know what to do first. He is a leader and he has no time for their stupid games. He will show this country what can get done when the President isn't having sex with interns during work hours.

AWWWW!! Dubya and Laura are just the cutest.
And I love it that she is lifting weights. Not only is she a strong person mentally and emotionally, now she will be a strong person physically. I can see it now: Laura Bush kicks Helen Thomas's big fat a$$. (She wouldn't really, but that would be funny!)

Thanks, grambo! Cute article. Is Laura the un-hillary, or what? And I figured the President was a romantic man. He comes across that way with Laura even in public - always holding her hand or touching her shoulder. They are true role models for our country. Not like the last occupants of the White House, that's for sure.

I have nothing of consequence to say. I just figured out the tag line thing and had to have an excuse to use it.

Can you imagine all the powerful vibes you would get from seeing the president speak at his SotU? Just watching it on tv is great. I can't wait for it.

Gephardt is on the way out! Daschle is on his way out! McCain is on his way out! And the Bush team and guys like Bill Frist are on the rise! I have always been damn proud to be a Republican, but never more so than now.
