But, there's no bias in the media.
I'm shocked! Shocked I tell you!

All the news they intend for you to hear. And nothing else.

Thanks for posting this...so I can send the truth out in emails. I didn't watch the movie but I know many people did. I figured it would be skewed as soon as I saw Mike Farrell was staring in it. Figures.

Just propagandists doing what they do best...fronting for the Democratic Crime Syndicate.

Who runs Viacom?

No surprise here ... in fact when I saw the promos for the show last week I mentioned to my wife in spite of Enrons close ties to the Clinton WH this will be construed to put the Bush administration in the worst possible light. As it turned out CBS took it a step further going all the way back to Reagan ... they're liberal democrat bias is so predictable. CBS the home of Dan "Blather"!

No problem, I'm sure the mainstream media will hasten to set the record straight, featuring extensive coverage of Cruver's remarks. </sarcasm

There is no "corruption" with Enron and the Bush Admin.
To: PJ-Comix
This further supports what many have been saying about CBS.

PJ, but the liberals don't have their own national radio talk show and a weak presence on the internet. It's unfair, I tell you.
Isn't it funny that just as this comes out, the liberals/Democrats are whining and complaining about the influence of conservative media?
To: Freee-dame
. In addition to several references to Ken Lay meeting with President Bush and Vice President Cheney, the TV movie superimposed images of left-wing actor Mike Farrell, who played Lay, into photos with the real George H.W. and George W. Bush, as well as Cheney.
------------
ping!
These are the people who whine they do not have an alternative to conservative talk radio!
They just create their own reality!

The January 2 Chronicle quoted Cruver: "In the book, as far as connections to the Bush administration, to me it was a bipartisan corruption, and I have as much information in the book about connections to (Bill) Clinton as (George W.) Bush. But the movie has taken a more one-sided view of that."
This would make a good topic for our 'conservative' hosts. We have to play the game with the cards that are dealt, and CBS just gave us this egregious example of their bias. I hope this author is willing to be interviewed, as his spoken comments should be powerful.

My husband and I watched it. I kept saying why did they mention Bush, Cheney, then "W Bush, but NOT Clinton??? He was not mentioned! I said they ignored 8 years of Clinton leadership! I thought it had to be on purpose. Chris Baker, Houston KRPC radio 950am 2pm daiily, said the show made Texans look like a bunch of hicks, saying "Howdy Ya'll, come see my new Ferrari." He said it like a hick, and played banjo plucking in the background. Crooked E made us look like a bunch of booger eatin' morons.

They would have had a clinton character in the movie, but they couldn't find an actor to play him golfing with Lay so much. Or one to tote Lay's luggage to the Lincoln Bedroom so many times...
Take a quick look on Google, and the left pages seem to have an 8-year gap in the timeline.

Does NE1 have a link that chronicles the democratics connection to Enron? i.e. Clinton, donations and amounts, staff, Enron committee involvements, California.
