for the first time I could take small children

....well alot of people think your small children should be banned from resturants

.... where they want a nice relaxing meal and don't want to sit by your kid jumping or screaming.

....or don't want to have to clean their cloths because they sat on the sticky stuff your children spilt all over.

....of course, I am sure, you would be the first one screaming your rights have been trampled on!

As a matter of fact, my two children were raised properly. We didn't go out that much when they were very small, and by the time they did go out at two or three we had no problems at all. I never ever allowed them to disrupt in public. And I did it for the same reason that I think smokers should not smoke in public. Other people have a right to a nice relaxing evening other than yourself.

Wonderful reply!!!!!!!

I am the mother of a very active 4 year old. Believe me, I do not take her into restaurants that do not cater to that type.

There are times when my husband and I would like a nice relaxing dinner in a restaurant and pay for the appropriate babysitting services and then have our meal ruined by other inconsiderate parents who insist on taking their little angels with them.
