I wouldn't take a chance that someone might come along and see those posts without seeing a very strong objection to it on the forum. It is true that any idiot can post vulgar tripe on the forum, but it is not true that everyone who happens to drop in knows this and realizes that it doesn't happen all the time.

A disclaimer was posted. People have voiced their thoughts on the disrupter. In an hour or so this thread will be gone. I don't think we've handled this so badly.

With all respect MinuteGal, I don't think XBOB is a disruptor. He's been a FReeper for quite a while. It is possible that he didn't see the filth we were subjected to. This has put us on edge, and if we start flaming each other the real disruptors and slime win a little victory.

Sure wish that IPs of posters were available to all of us. I didn't see any of the offensive pictures, but there is some disgusting stuff out there, and it would have been fun to throw this guy's IP to the tender mercies of places like alt.hackers.malicious or certain IRC venues.

I agree. Thank goodness those pictures were taken off,they made me choke on my morning coffee! I love Free Republic and have been a daily reader since Pres. Bush started to run for President. Thank you all for the wonderful work you do by informing America about the dirty tricks the Democrats are constantly up to.
