Thanks, PatrickHenry.
How could anyone think NASA capable of pulling off a fraud so large over 30 years. With the whole world there to catch it.
We know that a good geologist can tell a moon rock from an Earth rock.
842 pounds of moon rocks are being analyzed today by dozens of countries around the world.
Are they all in on the fraud?
Every clear night the Cote d'Azur Observatory in France uses the three mirror-prism retro-reflector arrays placed by Apollo on the moon for laser distance data taking.
So, is France in on the fraud also?
Telescopes all over the Earth photographed the return launches from the moon by Apollo (six missions).
Are they all in on the fraud?
This is tinfoil hat time... big time.

This is tinfoil hat time... big time. I'm willing to bet that most of those who doubt an event as well-documented as the moon landing will nevertheless quite easily believe that Noah's Ark has been found.

If I was a liberal and this was DU, I would say yes, but then again, those idiots think Paul Wellstone was murdered. The scariest thing to me, is that something like 1 in 4 americans don't think we landed on the moon. If NASA had been privatized years ago, we would probably have regular shuttles back and forth from mars by now.

Good points!
Also, if all of the moon landings were faked, then why in the world didn't they fake a successful Apollo 13 landing?

"How could anyone think NASA capable of pulling off a fraud so large over 30 years." I'm pretty sure we landed on the moon. As sure as anyone who wasn't there can be of such things anyway.
But lest we forget, this is the same government that gave us the single bullet theory just a few short years before. Arguing that our esteemed rulers are above lying to us on a massive scale is a little naive IMHO and probably the least effective kind of refutation of the claims made by hoax proponants.

How could anyone think NASA capable of pulling off a fraud so large over 30 years. Well, if you listen to Walter Cronkite's science advisor, Richard C. Hoagland, NASA's been covering up Martian-built
structures on Mars for 40 years...
Any way, the last I heard, there are five arrays of the French corner reflectors. Three Apollo, and two by Soviet-French
missions. The Soviets deposited theirs about the time of Apollo too.
