The bodies of three men were discovered Friday morning in the parking lot of a business in the Bermúdez Industrial Park in north Juárez, Mexican authorities said.
The Chihuahua state attorney general's Zeus police task force is investigating the homicides, which officials initially said appeared to be related to drugs.
Police said each of the three men was blindfolded, bore torture marks on his body and had an index finger cut off. Juárez medical examiners said the men were strangled. They were in a green 2002 Durango sport utility vehicle that was left at the Smufit, Cartón y Papel business, which is behind the XHJUB TV Channel 56 studio.
Authorities had not identified them late Friday.
