" what the hell are you trying to teach your kids!!!"
What Hell business is it of your what he is teaching his kids?
What are you teaching yours? How to be wussies? Do your young boys play with dolls and put on dresses?

"...what the hell are you trying to teach your kids!!!"Warrior tactics. Part of being a man and taking a man's role in society.
The day is fast coming when you will realize that knowing how to shoot, move and think will be a lifesaving part of education.
Incidents like this just illustrate that fact.

Actually, I think they should outlaw ALL paintball equipment and public activities -- what the hell are you trying to teach your kids!!! You're joking I hope. Kids who play paintball are the most wholesome kids I've seen ---they're outside in the fresh air, they're doing something that isn't very dangerous, they learn to be part of a team and good sportsmanship. No one gets hurt ---except a little bruise now and then.

Actually, I think they should outlaw ALL paintball equipment and public activities -- what the hell are you trying to teach your kids!!! I would be teaching my children how to be physiclally fit, responsible for their actions, how to think under pressure, to observe rules, that there are winners and loosers in games and in life plus they would learn some basic tactics and fighting skills that would improve their chances of survival should they have to defend them selves or their nation, just to name a few educational points.
Glad you asked, Jerry.

Perhaps you might be more comfortable in Canada. Freedom is not free, or tidy. Quit whining and leave already.

"Actually, I think they should outlaw ALL paintball equipment and public activities -- what the hell are you trying to teach your kids!!!" I assume by "they" you are referring to "government".
Ah, yes, let's pass some more laws restricting freedom in the name of ... well you said "parents teaching kids".
I don't care for the paintball thing myself but I darned sure don't want government passing more laws restricting even more of our freedoms.
As conservatives we claim we want people to be responsible for their own actions and consequences and then we want "government" to pass more laws restricting actions?
It seems as if we have "gone around the bend" and want the government to solve all our woes.

"Actually, I think they should outlaw ALL paintball equipment and public activities "On what grounds?
There is absolutely nothing inherently wrong with kids playing paintball. The very first lesson they will pick up, is that combat is not a video game. Getting shot hurts and making moves like you see on TV requires some physical exertion.
This is a sport people participate in voluntarily and it causes no more harm than soccer, football or basketball. If anything, it probably gives kids a very slight taste of what real combat might be like and if you think this is a bad lesson for kids to have, maybe you should strap on some goggles and suit up. You might be surprised what this lesson feels like.
The least you can do is stay the heck out of the way and don't add to the situation by demanding that perfectly lawful activities be made unlawful. We've got enough of that kind of help already.
Cheers,
Lloyd

Get a life will ya. At least Sledge is giving these kids something to do besides become Gang Bangers. We need more things to do for the kids in our communities and people like Sledge are doing something to keep kids off the streets. And the Parents must like what is going on they support it.

Are you serious?
Paintball is a great sport. I'm very fit, and a reasonable shot, but I had NO IDEA what a rush it would be to play paintball. Beats FPS games all to hell.
Paintball is one of those things that keeps this country great, and it keeps the JBTs from being too smug about being able to handle any situation - a very good thing!

I see you've been studying.
Maybe the kids need to get one of these?

Have you ever heard of cops and robbers?
How 'bout cowboys and indians?
Are you telling me you think these games should be outlawed?
How 'bout "kill the man" or "king of the hill" or dodgeball? Those should probably be outlawed too right?
H*, we should outlaw boxing and martial arts and football too. I mean....just what are we trying to teach our kids by letting this stuff exist anyway? We're creating sociopaths out of our kids by exposing them to all this garbage. I agree with you 100%! Lets ban it all! YOu are absolutely correct............NOT! You're a blind fool and you're posting the wrong kind of stuff on a forum such as this. You're too used to being controlled by your master and are uncomfortable when others are not as controlled as you. YOu obviously do not get the concept of "FREE".
Phrases that start with
"There should be a law...."
or
"They should outlaw....."
are utterances of ignorance.

Where'd you go? Had enough huh? Come back and fight like a man!

You're right. It would be better if our kids were out stealing to support a drug habit and knocking-up every available skirt. That way Social Services could justify themselves.
Kids having good, clean fun. What a tragedy.
