The latest insult to Islam comes in the form of a new book - "Islam Unveiled" - by Robert Spencer which rejects the thesis that Islam is a religion of peace or that it has been hijacked by a minority of extremists. It is open season on Islam in America.

No. I will not be happy as long as one stinking Muslim floor-kisser defiles the holy soil of the US of America, founded by Columbus as a refuge for Christians, on behalf of a nation that had just done to Muslims what we so badly need to do today.

And here is an example of how the islamist are using us. Just ask the Imam.

He's going to join the army just to get an education, then f**k us! Throw them out now, no more visas.

I tell you what, Ill give you a dollar for every Muslim executed or deported en masse, and you give me a dollar for every Christian and Jew so slaughtered and deported, and we'll see who files Chapter 11 first. Care to take me up on that?...JFK
No, because it's ridiculous.
And, in case you didn't notice.. We don't have problems with domestic Islam that aren't addressed by our laws.
It's the constitutional way.

It is open season on Christian doctors in Yemen.
Sadly true. Even sadder it seems its open season on Christians around the world. Strangely enough - with the exception of Ireland - their attackers are almost always muslimes.
Dang spellchecker!

Looks like you and your Muslim buddies have a serious PR problem. You're not winning any battles here, so what are you going to do about that?
To: Mrs. Obelix
There is a much better book IMHO titled Unveiling Islam written by two former Muslims Ergun Hehmet Caner and Emir Fethi Caner. Brothers..

Mass deportations of illegal aliens are not unconstitutional. Imprisonment or even the death penalty for those convicted of crimes are not unconstitutional. Defending the US is not unconstitutional. Where's your beef?
No, none of those are unconstitutional.
My "beef" is with some people here (no need to name them) that think it's okay to persecute Americans for worshipping Islam.
I am a Christian myself, so it's not my ox being gored.. but it does bother me to see so many FReepers just write off the First Amendment like this.
Freedom of Religion is a part of the founding of our nation. It's what keeps the US from being ever embroiled in these religious battles that are going on all around us as we speak.
PLUS, if you can do it to an American Muslim, you can do ti to an American Christian or American Jew. There is no difference but the religion in question.
This is a principled, moral, constitutional issue. It baffles me as to how so many FReepers got on the wrong side of it.

I think the Muslims do. Maybe they raised their quota. Businesses do it all the time. It's the only way to keep the followers motivated.

Read Among the Believers by Naipaul, or Why I am Not a Muslim, by Ibn Warraq. Or, The False Prophet by Ellis Skolfield of fish-house.com.

Well, then it doesn't appear that our positions are very far apart then.
Obviously they have to "behave" or else our legal system will ensure compliance.
I don't see any big differences here.

And, in case you didn't notice.. We don't have problems with domestic Islam that aren't addressed by our laws. In case you didnt notice, Islamists on our own soil slaughtered 3000 people in New York and D.C. about 16 months ago. Is that domestic enough for you? Does the fact that our laws address murder make the criminal organization responsible for the murders innocent, or not worth defending or avenging our peoples lives for? Since the laws offered little protection for them then, do we just stick our heads in the sand and pretend that something has changed?
The only intelligent thing about your reply was that you didnt take me up on the offer because you would be into me three grand and some change...JFK

And how many of these incidcnts were faked?
To: Jhoffa_
Don't give us this First Amendment crap. That amendment referred only to the Christian (and Jewish) population of the USA at that time, who would use such freedoms in a pro-Life and pro-progress way!
Jefferson never met a Muslim, nor Franklin either, nor Washington either, and I wish none of the rest of us had either.

Islam, religion or cult? Hasn't really been determined yet. For me anyway. They would do a lot better if they would stop slaughtering people who differ from them. Or at least criticize those who do. Since NONE of that is happening, I tend to go with cult. If they want war with us, and THEY say they do, it will be ugly, and they WILL lose.

Why didn't you take up BADROTOFINGER'S offer? If you are right, you could really clean up. (snicker)
