If Saddam really wanted to toss a curve to GW, he would leave and hand over power to his younger son. This would put GW in a bad situation to continue his campaign and the Saddam plan could continue ontrack. If you remember correctly, GW and the adminstration simply said that Saddam has to go. I suspect that Saddam has figured out that life in Libya isn't too bad and his younger son is quiet capable of running business. GW would be forced to agree with the situation while they build more WMD.

So instead of mother of all battles, it will be the father of all battles. Does anyone think he's any more relevant than the cloning hoaxers?

Maybe he will tell his people that they will not see him again. Then he could go on Donahue.

Me thinks the war is about to begin. Not until late Feb at the very eariliest, unless Saddam starts it first.

If Saddam handed over power to his son how would that make the sitaution any different? Same regime...same problem. At this point its too late and Saddam can do nothing but anticipate his virgins in heaven.
If we don't kill Saddam the Iraqi people will.

He's probably going to bite his lip, and recite Marten Luther King.
He's asking for a shipment of Depends.
He's going to ask for a first born child sacrifice to Allah.
He's gonna say he has 50 nukes, and he'll use them on every state in America if we don't stop picking on him because he's beautiful.

I bet Saddam will "come out the closet" and announce he's gay. He will seek asylum in the United States from Nambla or something.
To: pepsionice
I think he's going to announce that he's stepping down, and that Hillary is taking over.

He probably has a new romance novel coming out in stores this month. Love Story Two, starring Al Gore, Tipper, Saddam, and his first 200 wives.
On sale soon at Amazon.com, next to Al Gores latest hit.

Iraqi News Agency :
"The president will deliver a pan-Arab and historic speech tomorrow at 11 a.m. to the people of Iraq and members of our brave armed forces on the 82nd anniversary of the Iraqi Army."
Looks like it's just an anniversary speech, but who knows what he'll say.

This would put GW in a bad situation to continue his campaign and the Saddam plan could continue ontrack. If you remember correctly, GW and the adminstration simply said that Saddam has to go.I thought the stipulation was a full regime change. I do not think that the curnet administration would accept his son taking over.

Historic Address - What the evil dictator might say.
"I am announcing today that we have bombed the infidel Americans in the 19th Province of Iraq, and they are dying as we watch from a disease commonly called "Ebola". The dirty Americans brought this biological agent with them, to place blame upon the Islamic army. We have foiled their plans to attack us and they are now dying from their own stupidity."
"Today, Iraq also has 25 nuclear bombs shared with us by our North Korean friends. We will anniliate anyone who attacks us, and have prepositioned some of these weapons in the capitals of foreign lands"
"I would, therefore, like to also announce the creation of the Islamic Kaliphiate. I am assuming the duties of this newly created position to protect the Arab peoples and the muslim world from the evildoers."

I agree Mixer. Were only going to accept a liberation of the Iraqi people.

Transferring power to the sons or leaving the country to exile? Pulling a clintoon and getting attention for himself?....lol!
To: Stevieboy
What if he resigns? "Mr. Saddam ! Tear down that wall!"
Welcome, President Bush. Military genious -Reagan #2.
To: PokeyJoe
Kind of like a liberal. Going to try and protect the Arabs from themselves. Seeing as how they are doing most if not all of the violence.

Not until late Feb at the very eariliest, unless Saddam starts it first.I doubt Saddam is going on TV to announce that he is declaring war. However I do think that the late Feb date that the media has been announcing is a true diversion for the real attack date. We will need some sort of element of surprise.
