What is it with the wolf protectors? Obviously they have a lot more influence than the elk fans.

Since 1996 over 80 people have been killed and eaten by wolves in northern India.
How many people have been killed and eaten by the Noth American Wolf, ever?
Humans are not in the diet of New World wolves as humans arrived in the new world late in history and at a time when they had developed defenses against wolves. (IMHO).

Agenda 21, Biospheres and Corridors and all the "re-wilding of predators" projects are designed to keep humans near approved population centers and out of the rural areas.
It has nothing to do with ecological balance.

At the time of the Pilgrims there were wolves from one end of America to the other, literally from New England to California.
As the country was settled, the wolves were eradicated. Exactly as they were in Europe.
There is no benefit of any kind in re introducing wolves into our national forests. Except in the minds of the eco freaks who would just as soon not have you and I going into those forests.
As these wolves impact the hunting revenues of these states, eventually the wolves will be put on authorized hunt lists too.
The eco freaks have given us record forest fires in their childish notions of "wilderness", now the wolves that were re introduced during Clintons reign are coming home to roost.

There really was a reason these pests were wiped out in the first place.
