What's wrong with 'most' of today's black Americans is that they are racists.

I don't use that term in the denotative context but in the context of "always thinking of things in terms of race".

The minority of blacks that have been able to let it go have become successful in the world. This enrages the racist blacks even more.

When I visited Ireland as a young single woman I was asked if I was Irish. I almost said yes, before having a sudden Simpsons-like 'DOH!' moment.

after the federal government has spent more than $700 billion dollars on the poor—largely on poor blacks—since former President Lyndon Johnson vastly expanded welfare with his War on Poverty nearly 40 years ago?

I am absolutely convinced that if the Federal Government spent zero dollars to "help" poor blacks in the 1960s that their children would be better off today.

When you have to work to eat--you work! When your work your children learn to work. When work is hard then you learn self-disclpline and self-restraint and maybe even courage. When you learn those things you can become a leader of men.

The conservative view says to blacks: You are equal. That means that to be great you must be good, to excel you must struggle, and handouts give you the wrong incentives to do the wrong things that will hurt you in the long run. The liberal says: "You want it now. You got it now." Well, the liberals gave it to them--inner cities mired in poverty from sea to shiny sea.

It goes further than that. Schools, to stay out of court and make the PC crowd happy, no longer teach the history that the article's author learned. Children no longer learn the words and ideas of Teddy Roosevelt; "There is no such thing as a hyphenated American only Americans. No Irish-American, German-American, or any other kind only American. America has no room for isms of any kind but Americanism!"

Blacks who are successfull despise Republicans.

Powell, Thomas, Rice, Watts, Sowell and Williams are just porch negroes to the black majority.

What's wrong with 'most' of today's black Americans is that they are racists.

More accurately, most are liberals. The problem is that racism has been insitutionalized as a primary chacteristic of the Democrat mindset. It now transcends mere skin color and ethnicity as crucial defining and life-giving forces for sustaining liberalism.

But racism is a negative defining force for liberals and the Democrat Party. Liberals will lose substantial political power in this nation the day racism continues to exist. They know that, and it alarms them. Therefore they work feverishly to keep racism alive. If they cannot find racists, they invent racists. So skilled are they, and so warped is their mindset, that they can even make distinguished and accomplished blacks such as Colin Powell and Clarence Thomas into racists.

Racism is vital to the health of the Democrat Party. It is its oxygen.

I don't basically disagree with anything you say and I don't think it's inconsistent with what I have said.

Again, I don't think blacks are racists as defined by Webster. I don't think they see themselves as superior or inferior based on their race. But I do believe they think of all things in terms of race. And yes, they despise Republicans just like any jealous person who thinks someone else has it better than themselves.

It's the old "white man keeping the black man down" thinking. While that was true decades ago, it has long since been replaced with the "white man wants to help you bring yourself up". The problem is that the RATs, socialists and assorted race baiters don't want that to happen. They see a good racket for themselves and they're NOT going to let it go.

Does anyone know if Inhofe is running for re-election for Oklahoma senator ? If not JC would be quite a candidate
