Earth Liberation Claims Responsibility For SUV Firebombing
Friday, January 03, 2003
On Friday, the environmental terrorist group Earth Liberation Army claimed responsibility for setting several SUVs on fire at Bob Ferrando Ford in Girard.
The claim was released on the ELFs website. The statement says the group targeted the SUVs to continue the fight to remove the profit motive from the killing of the natural enviornment."
The FBI says it is taking the fires very seriously. Four SUVs were completely destroyed when jugs of gas were placed under three of them and then lit.
The vandalism occurred just before 6:00 a.m. New Years Day. Police estimate the damage at $100,000. Owner Bob Ferrando says his insurance will cover the damage.
Back in November, the ELF claimed that it teamed with the Animal Liberation Front in setting fire to an Erie mink farm. The ELF also claimed responsibility for the August 11 fire of a Forest Service lab in Warren County, and claimed responsibility for spiking trees and setting a crane on fire in Winter Green Gorge last March.

Don't they understand they are promoting global warming by releasing all those greenhouse gasses everytime they burn something up?
To: Conservababe
Why can't they be prosecuted under the Rico Act? 1. You have to catch them.
2. You have to get the liberal judiciary (and the ACLU, etc.) to go along. Don't forget, no matter what they told you when they passed RICO, it's only for pro-life anti-abortion protesters and evil corporations.

"We should bomb some liberal Volvos in retaliation."
You may or may not know, but many european car makers are advertising the re-cycling quality of the materials designed into their cars.
Volvo is one, but not the only one. BTW Ford purchased Volvo, Jaguar, and others.

The FBI is already on the job with these wackos. Hopefully they are infiltrating these groups and not only figuring out who the soldiers are (the ones that do the dirty work) but also who the people are providing money and motivation for these attacks. (my guess is there's more than a few leftist university professors involved)

Hopefully they are infiltrating these groups.. They need undercover agents for this? Just raid PETA's offices and you get all the evidence you need.

FBI? What a joke.
Gee, if only they were in a church out in the country somewhere minding their own business.
Then the FBI would find em.
And burn em alive. Kids and puppies too.

The FBI has already solved a number of ELF arson cases in Oregon.

burning gasoline, burning anything releases "greenhouse gasses", but don't tell them, they might think they were either hypocritical or just plain stupid and that would not be politically correct because it is destructive of their self-image. (sob)

If this happened
three days ago, why is it that only today we're learning about it?
I don't recall hearing this on January 1 or 2, 2003.

I'd just guard the dealership with Mr. 308.

The first step for the FBI should be to go capture the webmaster of the site that claims responsibility for the attacks. They need to beat a confession and a detailed map of who works where out of him, then go get them. These guys were designated off-limits during Klinton's skiffy reign. It's time for the FBI to go get these sumbitches and do some prosecutin'.
The Enviro-terror whacks need to do hard time in Leavenworth. They think they're hardasses. The killers and rapists in Leavenworth would tear them up and spit them out in nothing flat.

Damn straight, I'd be pulling the role of armed guard at night and have whoever else I could get to help me out.
I would really feel bad if a car owner or dealership owner fed some of these guys a lead salad (NOT).
To: KineticKitty; AmishDude
What make and model of car did they use to speed away from the scene of the crime? Because most invirowacko's are hypocrites IMHO.
GOOD POINT.
Why aren't they driving buggies or walking ?
Which brings to mind this old joke:
What goes clop, clop, bang-bang, clipity, clipity clop ?
A drive-by Amish shooting.
