Hey, pal, I ain't gonna lose any sleep over a football game, especially college. But if i stay up and spend time to watch one, I don't like flakey endings. Sports should be fair always, but tonight looked too biased at the end, IMO.

I am NOT a Miami fan, and I do root against them all the time. So don't put me in the 'sore loserman' category. I just think they were hosed on a bad call. That simple. But somebody has to lose.

It's a funny game. Enjoy your tainted victory any way you wish, but try to do it without being a sore winner. I'm not mad at anybody. Sounds like many Ohio fans here tonight need some 'sensativity training'. (heh, heh)

The Big 10 is very very tough. 5-2 in the Bowls. Repeats are never easy but we have the best coach.

Agree. Forget one call. Miami played poorly all night and Ohio State played thier hearts out. State deserved to win-bottom line!

I don't care much about college football at all, except for Marshall (and they're stuck in that dorkwad conference), but I decided to watch this one. I was dumbfounded watching Miami play. THIS is the #1 team in the country? Ohio State wiped their butts with them.

I'm so excited!! I must say that the same people complaining about OHIO STATE were the ones that said OSU shouldn't even be on the field and would get skunked. Ohio State won the game. Congratulations to all long suffering Buckeye Fans!! Woody is smiling!

Personally, I was aware that the OSU defensive players before the game said they wanted to shut down the running game and put the outcome in Dorsey's hands....

They succeeded.

MIAMI HAD 4 SHOTS FROM THE ONE YARD LINE AND COULDN'T SCORE.

Dorsey may have been injured, but that's not the issue....my comment was that OSU's defense dominated the "EXTREMELY POTENT MIAMI SCORING MACHINE".

Gee, wasn't it obvious that everyone wanted Miami to win? I'm surprised they didn't have Brent Musburger in their with Fouts. Or Costas and Joe Morgan.

As far as penalties, I was wondering why the refs didn't throw any flags on Miami for all the holding they were doing. It's hard to sack the QB when you have to run with an offensive lineman on your back.

Bad calls went both ways. As far as the interference call in the endzone in the OT, they only showed the angle from the endzone, which didn't look like much. When they showed it from the field view the Miami player was all over the OSU reciever.

Even when we win we get no respect.

But the only thing that matters now is the final score!

The AP may (and OSU fans) may recognize them as champs, but I don't. Again, I would have been happy no matter who won. Until the ref decide to determine the national champ. At least this will be one for the archives. The problem with such an obivously blown call, it is cheapens the sport. My guess even many of the OSU fans deep down, know they really got a good break from the refs. There will always be an "unwritten asterisk" beside this one. Again, I don't like Miami. Just hate to see someone loose on a blown call at such a critical time.

You should watch ESPN. They showed the unfair lack of a call which forced OSU to punt. Which led to the tie. Then they showed the interference/holding--yes they confirm it. They mentioned some people--Dan Fouts--thought it was a bogus call. In other words, they were saying Fouts was wrong without embarrassing him too much.

The sad thing is how many of us believed Dan Fouts just because he was an announcer.
