"But do we care if China kills a few (thousand) Americans with the weapons technology that Israel recently sold them?"

//I noticed that also . .. amazing just how far the tax dollar will go, eh?

//Tax the U.S. worker. Give it to the Israelis. They sell it to the Chinese. They blah blah blah...\\

If you believe what you have said, why DO you "fully support" Israel?

I agree with you 100%.

It is a perversion of religion. I find it disgusting that no Muslims ever speak out against the blood that is shed in the name of Mohammed.

CAIR is a group of crybabies who believe in civil rights only for themselves.

I don't understand why China is selling off advanced weaponry acquired from the U.S. (especially when it could potentially end up being used against American).

What puts Israel in a precarious situation here is that not only do the recieve over $8 Billion annually from direct U.S. aid, but they also recieve in addtion to that in terms of U.S. military support and cover from hostile nations.

Israel is the single-most faithful ally the U.S. has in the Middle East. That is why I fully support them - even though they are not perfect, they are our best ally.

It will be interesting to see how that situation develops, and why China is buying advanced weaponry from Israel.

I work in the news media myself.

In my ordinary reportage, I keep a balance that is expected of me.

But MY opinion column is my own. (Once or twice, I've had my column pulled pre-publication because 'it was not in the interests of the publication'. Maybe I was a bit too conservative for their liking or something *L*. But, it has always been in consultation with me. Other than that, a columnists opinions are their own, and while I get a lot of mail about mine, my company would NEVER suspend me for something I've written. And ALWAYS defend my position when the crack pots come on complaining - citing, freedom of expression).

Remarks by the President at Islamic Center of Washington, D.C.
PRESIDENT BUSH: Thank you all very much for your hospitality. We've just had a -- wide-ranging discussions on the matter at hand. Like the good folks standing with me, the American people were appalled and outraged at last Tuesday's attacks. And so were Muslims all across the world. Both Americans and Muslim friends and citizens, tax-paying citizens, and Muslims in nations were just appalled and could not believe what we saw on our TV screens.

These acts of violence against innocents violate the fundamental tenets of the Islamic faith. And it's important for my fellow Americans to understand that.

The English translation is not as eloquent as the original Arabic, but let me quote from the Koran, itself: In the long run, evil in the extreme will be the end of those who do evil. For that they rejected the signs of Allah and held them up to ridicule.

The face of terror is not the true faith of Islam. That's not what Islam is all about. Islam is peace. These terrorists don't represent peace. They represent evil and war.

When we think of Islam we think of a faith that brings comfort to a billion people around the world. Billions of people find comfort and solace and peace. And that's made brothers and sisters out of every race -- out of every race.

America counts millions of Muslims amongst our citizens, and Muslims make an incredibly valuable contribution to our country. Muslims are doctors, lawyers, law professors, members of the military, entrepreneurs, shopkeepers, moms and dads. And they need to be treated with respect. In our anger and emotion, our fellow Americans must treat each other with respect.

Women who cover their heads in this country must feel comfortable going outside their homes. Moms who wear cover must be not intimidated in America. That's not the America I know. That's not the America I value.

I've been told that some fear to leave; some don't want to go shopping for their families; some don't want to go about their ordinary daily routines because, by wearing cover, they're afraid they'll be intimidated. That should not and that will not stand in America.

Those who feel like they can intimidate our fellow citizens to take out their anger don't represent the best of America, they represent the worst of humankind, and they should be ashamed of that kind of behavior.

This is a great country. It's a great country because we share the same values of respect and dignity and human worth. And it is my honor to be meeting with leaders who feel just the same way I do. They're outraged, they're sad. They love America just as much as I do.

I want to thank you all for giving me a chance to come by. And may God bless us all.

Good post, Cindy.

Can you please check the link at post #28 (Islam's 20 Year Plan for America).

It affirms how cunning Islam is in propogating itself.

I can't help but believe that those who are unwilling to accept Islam as "The Religion of Peace" are in for some really hard times.

Muslims are going to pull out every trick in the book to push Islam down our throats.

"OK, they can squat around the camel-dung fire and grumble about it, or they can put their bottoms in the air five times a day and pray for deliverance; that's their business," Cotterell wrote in his e-mail. "And I don't give a damn if Israel kills a few in collateral damage while defending itself. So be it."

I could grow to like this guy. Maybe. There's hope for him, anyway.
Why forfeit his "right to free expression" because some democrat weenie gets offended?
Democrats are such sissies.

Tax the U.S. worker. Give it to the Israelis. They sell it to the Chinese. They blah blah blah..

Hell, Clinton sold them the technology for long range missles to get funding for his re-election! Our own president was worse than Israel when it comes to our national security. Forget Isreal. They're the little guys compared to the rapist.
