For all the non-Marines me included), the proper spelling is "O-O-R-A-H". I just bought the bumper sticker that says, "OORAH, It's A Marine Thing".
Not to be confused with what the hell it is that that say in "Basic Training" on "The History Channel". That's an Army thing.

Come out and piss off a commie for your mommie (in her honor as it were). It's the Worker's World Party and the Revolutionary Communist Party that is organizing the "anti-war" march. The International Socialist Organization supplies much of the "NO War For Oil" signs. It is in fact a pro-Iraq, pro-North Korea and pro-Castro march. That's the objective of Brian Becker and Clark Kissinger.
PS: We'll have some t-shirts and hats for those who really want to P.O. the little Ed Asner followers.

Subject: Military Thank You Card
Subject: Military Thanks! If you are so inclined, visit the Department of Defense web page below
and sign a brief message thanking the men and women of the U.S. military
services for defending our freedom. The compiled list of names will be
sent out to our soldiers at the end of the month. So far, there are
only about 1,400,000 names. What a shame.
There should be hundreds of millions of thank yous.
Pass the word that we can honor and support the defenders of freedom.

Kristinn, thank you so much for all you are doing for this cause. Some folks have asked about speakers, and the MOVEOUT contribution to this Joel Kernodle. We are delagating responsibilites, Joel is our media representative and spokensman, and would be glad to speak with the FReeper assembly, also. I am now going to start a series of posts on how we got involved. Btw, our main goal is to keep any monument, but especially the shrines that are dear to us, from being defiled. Secondly, we resent the hell outta these communist pukes speaking for Our Dead.

At the last rally, a couple of people who couldn't be there took phone calls and posted a live event thread. Will we be having one of those again?

Private First Class Mario Nararrete took a moment for himself as he waited to board a plane for Kuwait yesterday from Robins Air Force Base in Georgia. Yesterday's deployment order was the largest since the Persian Gulf preparations began last month. (AFP Photo)

I know was supposed to be finished, but...
Well, excellent job, folks. You just lost a FReeper. FrustratedCitizen has informed me that he will no longer be posting on this site. I bet you're all jumping for joy now.
This was a kid who was ready and willing to come out with you all, but he no longer feels welcome.
Look, I can understand your frustration in trying to get a good turn out. But that doesn't give you the right to take your frustrations out on someone who just wants to look out for his fellow FReepers. It CERTAINLY makes NO sense to delete his attempt to defend himself.
Maybe you all could've been GROWN-UPS and IGNORED the weather reports if they bothered you. Don't get all high and mighty about your supposed "right to speak" either. Sometimes politeness is the better course.

Far be it from me to boast -- well, not TOO far -- but I would like to know that the much bally-hooed "weather effect" of my attendance at Freeper rallies is already taking hold.
BillF playfully mentioned something about "hot air" in this connection, and I would like you to note that that's exactly what's happening! The expected temperature is rising and the forecast of precipitation on Friday is being withdrawn.
I only claim a ten-degree weather effect, of course, so winter clothing is still called for.
Please don't be scared. I am joking. or am I?

Coming to the rally this weekend and looking for a nice place to eat dinner? Washington restaurants have a special where the high-end restaurants will serve you lunch for $20 and dinner for $30 this weekend. Participating restaurants can be found
here. Protest in style!
