CROWLEY: A quick look now at politics and the media.

The continued popularity of conservative voices like Rush Limbaugh has Democrats wondering how to create a media megaphone of their own.

Actually, I think FOX's graphics suck.

Agreed! I wonder who convinced Ailes that covering more than a third of the screen with screaming graphics was a good idea.

I could even abide the screaming, scrolling graphics if they didn't contain entertainment headlines like, "J Lo has carbunkle removed from ass."

Leave that fluff crap to E!

Ever since Laurie went to the Middle East and started pulling her hair back, I've noticed she has a very large head.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

We NEVER hear any discussion in the lame-stream media of NPR and the various (left wing extremist) talk shows that have taken root there.

Funny you should mention this. Fox has a show on the weekend called Media Watch. It's four or five media types setting around talking about the media. One media type stated he listens to NPR all the time and it leans toward the conservatie side. Man...how liberal do you think this reporter is? Unflippen believable!

Its a web thing...they want their screens to resemble web pages in a wierd way...

Are you aware that CNN has completely different broadcasts from what we get here in the USA that air all over the globe? Are you aware that their news stories are constantly filled with Anti-American propaganda, left wing puff pieces about the Kyoto Treaty and Global Warming?

I'm sorry. How is CNN's US broadcasts different from it's global newscasts?

From what I heard today, the Republicans are employing an agenda using the "Maginot" strategy. Where before the first sign of a fight, they surrender to the Democrats. I hope they prove me wrong.

Ah, they're stealing a page out of the Iraqi military's playbook.

THEY STILL DON'T GET IT!!

I love it. The nattering nabobs of negativism don't have a clue. Maybe they can try the Paula Zahn zipper ads again. It never occurs to the effete corps of impudent snobs to just tell the truth!

The reason a liberal talk show will never work is that they would have to take calls. Intelligent, informed callers would rip the host to shreds with sound LOGIC. The liberal agenda is all about feelings and crumples under reasoned arguments and the honest truths about human nature.

"I'm sorry. How is CNN's US broadcasts different from it's global newscasts?"

I caught your tongue 'n cheek :) I know it's hard to fathom, but CNN's US broadcasts are mild compared to the ones they air abroad. For some reason, I'd always assumed their global broadcasts were no different than what we see here in the US. I couldn't have been more wrong. I tell you, their commie agenda isn't disguised one bit and I found it scary as hell.

I saw this ad also and thought it was great. My wife and I do a lot of travelling going to soccer tournaments with our grandson. The first thing we do when we turn the tv on is try to find FNC. It is pretty bad that a lot of hotels do not carry FNC. But if hotels now see that people want FNC in their rooms, they will move heaven and earth to get it on the tubes.

I want to congratulate Mr. Greenfield for managing to discuss this subject without mentioning the words "extremist", "McCarthyism" or "racist".

Normally liberals cannot complete sentences without mentioning at least one of these words. ;-)
