I'd be happy to sign the petition because she is a lousy Senator who doesn't represent me well.

But, I think what she said is being overblown.

Let's face facts, she's an idiot. She said things that were stupid, false, dumb and pathetic. But all those things describe her political philosophy and her general intelligence.

If I got angry and started recalling every politician that said stupid, dumb, false and pathetic thing every liberal would be out of office and quite a few GOP folks as well.

Until we get a change in the Constitution that requires an intelligence test for our elected officials this is what were stuck with.

I was a lot more offended by the less publicized comments she made telling those H.S. kids they basically had to chose between the war on Terror/Iraq and their Pell grants.

I think that you might be missing the point regarding your Senator. Senator Lott was absolutely ROASTED ALIVE by the press overreaction to his stupid, insensitive and hurtful comment, meanwhile Ms Murray gets a free pass for her stupid, insensitive and hurtful comments.

I think that the citizens of this nation and the posters on this board are looking to see if the press villifies regardless of your ideological flavor, or if you are MORE EQUAL than others if you are of the correct ideological leaning.

What we would REALLY like to do is to demonstrate that in spite of what the mainstream press tries to say... WE DO CARE. And a really good demonstration would be a fully populated petition from her state and her district.

Or maybe you did get that and I am preaching to the choir.
