IOCC is too greek orthodox influenced and biased. I offered to give them a hand as I am a very experienced race promoter and they refused (as I am Serb). I make my politics known and where I stand, as some people are afraid and intimidated by that. They are called sheep and many orgnanizations have lost focus of what their intentions are. My ride has very very little overhead, ask IOCC what their cost of that ride was (percentage of their fundraising)..it was too high. I know how much it may have cost them from what I can see what and how they were riding across the country.

TOO GREEK ORTHODOX....why they are doing wonderful work for Serbian chiLdren in Bosnia right now. I love the Greek Orthodox Church...and Greeks. They have done so much for Serbian refugees in this country. I have always received help from them ANYTIME I asked.
Bishop Alexios of Atlanta and the women's charity arm of the Church, filled a 40 foot shipping container this past Summer that was sent to help refugees from KosovO who are now in Serbia.
One must understand....MANY ORTHODOX PEOPLE IN THE USA ARE HELPING THE SERBIAN REFUGEES HERE AND IN SERBIA.
PUT YOUR POLITICS ASIDE....THE SERBIANS NEED ALL THE HELP THEY CAN GET.....NOT JUST FROM YOU AND OTHER SERBS.
You have no corner on the "helping Serbians market". You may not like all their ways....but remember, YOU are not in charge of all assistance to the SERBIAN people.

What I am doing is for a great cause, why you do not come on board and make this a success? I may have strong political views, but I put those aside very easily. You may feel I am too one-sided, but I have given food and clothing too the "enemy"- the Bos Muslims before, Crazy. Why, when I am on the other side when they want to get rid of my kind? I do not like when others go hungry nor without clothing/shelter. That is where my sympathy lies, with the innocent people. The only ones I have never helped are the Croats, there really hasnt been a need too at this point. These "local" good Serbian people of my community helped build that fricking new hall the Croats have.
There is an abundant amount of underground politics you may not be aware of, crzy. It is in existant around you and arent even aware of it, trust me. Ever here of "The Serbian Underground" where I am from? Ask around.
You may not fathom the significance of the Pedal in Peace, this can put and bring to the spotlight the plight of the Serbian Children who are refugees. This has not happened accept here in the safe USA. Anyone can do what the IOCC riders did, plenty of support and comfortable surroundings, etc... With the doubt you cast only hinders the success we all can bring to these kids. These are kids who will not have a normal upbringing like we had. Is it that you do not care to make this into a large media frenzy where the kids are the story, crazy?

When I was there last year we DID have a Christmas Tree.. As a Christian I will not compromise my faith and nor should I, I will not appologize for celebrating Christmas, and the birth of My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. At the same time I understand that there are many who REJECT Jesus Christ, and that is an issue between them and God. The best "preaching" we can do to those who Reject Christ is NOT to compromise our own beliefs, and they will know we are Christians by our LIFE, not our "Bible Beating"... If someone hates me because I love Christ, than so be it... But God help me if someone "likes" me because I compromise my OWN faith to appease others....
That is another reason why I would like to get into politics.... I understand that consensus building is part of the process, and compromise is necessary.. however too many politicians fail the American people and themselves when they take a neutral stance on EVERYTHING.. and are stop trying to LEAD (get others to see things MY way)..... America is in desperate need of LEADERSHIP, not compromisers... (God Bless George W. Bush for showing Leadership and not compromising with Freedoms enemies) ...we have enough of those!!

As an American I reject any division based solely on race or ethnicity.. I know that is hard for the people from other nations to understand... As an American I stand for Freedom first,,, My first OATH of Alligience, as a Soldier, is to the CONSTITUTION of the United States, NOT any person, but rather a set of IDEALS.. this idea is incomprehensible to some soldiers who pledge their OATH of Alligience to a PERSON.. and subject themselves to any whim or idea of that person (as an idividual, thwarting the will of the people he/she represents)... I swore to obey the Orders of the President of the United States, and at the time I was first sent to Bosnia in 1996 it was President Clinton.. I did not compromise my oath just because I did not particulary care for President.. I could only hope and pray that congress would have fullfiled their duty to remove him from office, (Which it failed to do) and I deeply regret.

Obviously, you lack the knowledge of what happened or what the answers are to the solutions. Tell me, I understand very very well your sheltered military existance while in Bosna. You really believe you were chummy with your Serbian translators and the locals? Think real hard about that, you were never accepted as their friend nor will ever as "close" to your Serbian translators as you believe you were.
Your "tolerance" and brand of religion is not conducive to the Balkans, and will always be rejected. I say that as it sounds like you were a born-again. There is nothing wrong at all as I have a few friends who are born-again. Think real, real hard about the aforementioned and you might have a clue how far off-base (no pun intended)you truly are on the Balkans. Big deal if you are/were there, I played a season of pee wee football, that doesnt make an expert or an authority of that topic. The ramblings you created in your prior posts is of a novice/amateur at best. Keep on Soldiering, Army of One. Quarter Cav, Scouts out!

Please answer...Again you are catagorizing people by etnicity.. when will you ever reach the point that you judge people by their actions and character.. and not by who their parents are, or where they were born... which is precisely the reason why the Balkans are experiencing the problems they are... I trust my fellow AMERICAN soldiers, sailors, airman, and marines with my "6" as you put it... regardless of their race, creed, color, national origin, religion, sex, or any other category you can think of... when we put on the uniform we are all soldiers... there are those out there who wish to destroy this principle, and categorize us separately.. but it will not work.. Americans are united and that is a fact... that does not mean we don't have disagreements.. but the RULE OF LAW superceedes any personal whim or personal bias..... I pray that other countries will someday enjoy the same principles in thier laws.. My American forefathers have fought hard for the freedoms I enjoy, may I never take their sacrifice forgranted... and may God continue to Bless the United States of America...

Not true.. in my civilian job, I am a law enforcement officer.. does my presence at a disturbance infringe of the "freedoms" of those creating the disturbance.. again... this goes back to the rule of law.. in America, we have civil ways (courts) to settle disputes... and the rule of law will prevail....

The US military (under Clinton) in Bosnia and Kosovo was (mis)used as a tool of oppression by liberal HumWarriors such as the UN overlords of Bosnia and Kosovo. Both places are far worse off now than before Wasshington interventionists got involved.
