As an American I reject any division based solely on race or ethnicity.. I know that is hard for the people from other nations to understand... As an American I stand for Freedom first,,, My first OATH of Alligience, as a Soldier, is to the CONSTITUTION of the United States, NOT any person, but rather a set of IDEALS.. this idea is incomprehensible to some soldiers who pledge their OATH of Alligience to a PERSON.. and subject themselves to any whim or idea of that person (as an idividual, thwarting the will of the people he/she represents)... I swore to obey the Orders of the President of the United States, and at the time I was first sent to Bosnia in 1996 it was President Clinton.. I did not compromise my oath just because I did not particulary care for President.. I could only hope and pray that congress would have fullfiled their duty to remove him from office, (Which it failed to do) and I deeply regret.

Obviously, you lack the knowledge of what happened or what the answers are to the solutions. Tell me, I understand very very well your sheltered military existance while in Bosna. You really believe you were chummy with your Serbian translators and the locals? Think real hard about that, you were never accepted as their friend nor will ever as "close" to your Serbian translators as you believe you were.

Your "tolerance" and brand of religion is not conducive to the Balkans, and will always be rejected. I say that as it sounds like you were a born-again. There is nothing wrong at all as I have a few friends who are born-again. Think real, real hard about the aforementioned and you might have a clue how far off-base (no pun intended)you truly are on the Balkans. Big deal if you are/were there, I played a season of pee wee football, that doesnt make an expert or an authority of that topic.
