Mugabe doesn't have that problem. He still rides in an armored Mercedes limousine with tinted windows, surrounded by two dozen motorcycles and sport-utility vehicles with their sirens blaring.

In denying food to families associated with the political opposition, Mugabe's government is essentially denying food to non-Shona members of the population, when the country is in famine conditions. This constitutes genocide, under the Genocide Convention, and obliges all other countries, under international law, to intervene to stop the genocide.
