Her name is "Ellen" Ratner, not "Helen." I've been tangling with her, off and on, on national talk radio for six years, most recently yesterday morning.

I can believe that she thinks like this. I find it hard to believe she was stupid enough to SAY it. Looking for a transcript to be posted.

Okay, here's a very brief transcript. The context was that Ellen was giving her predictions for '03. She said something about Bush, to which Brenda Butner said that he will be re-elected.

Following is a transcript of what came next:

RATNER: Unless he messes up the war -- I hope.
BUTNER: You hope?
RATNER: Well, I don't want him to be elected.
