Helen Ratner, Your World with Brenda Buttner sitting in for Niel Cavuto:
Butner Q: What do you hope happens? [with the war in Iraq]
With a sadistically cheerful attitude, Ratner responded to Butner...
Ratner A: "I hope he[Bush] messes it up, so he isn't re-elected.
Butner Amazed Q: What!...
Ratner A: Begins weak back peddaling effort...
Ratner is a traitor betch...someone get the transcript of this...
Clinton White House Communications Director Ann Lewis.

Thanks a lot! I haven't eaten dinner yet!
Free speech and the First Amendment must be protected. But that does not mean that a simple respect for common decency no longer counts. Ellen Ratner today made a remark which can only be construed as hoping that many American servicepeople will die, so George W Bush will not be reelected. That is not partisan, or leftist, or any other term which you might want to use to excuse her crassness-that is pure evil. She is a disgrace to journalism and a liability to FoxNews. The viewers made Fox a ratings winner over the once untouchable CNN-we can take that status away from you just as easily, by turning Fox OFF so long as it is affiliated in any way with this vulgar, hatefilled, evil witch.
Real name
Real address
They cannot get over their sheer hatred of Bush."
Amen. The Dems have no conscience whatsoever. They'd like nothing better than to see thousands of our military returning home in body bags. Who cares about torment and heartache that it causes for the families of our dead soldiers, not to mention the rest of us? As long as it helps the Democratic party's political fortunes. Wasn't it Dick Gephart who, a few months ago, was salivating over the possibility of picking up 30 seats in the House if the economy continued to deteriorate? So what if a few million people face financial hardship? Those 30 seats are more important to the Dems than some families having heat in the winter, or food on the table. The next thing you know, they'll be openly rooting for a smallpox epidemic - gee, that might really improve their chances in 2004!
Looking forward to getting some more of those great stamps, mugs, et. al for all my freeper friends that are not lucky enought to get to the CPAC conference.
Not past the FR booth if she knows what is good for her after that comment. Of course we would be nice, but she wouldn't know what to do with herself when we were done.
Stay Safe !
As long as they can blame Bush and Republicans.
Those 30 seats are more important to the Dems than some families having heat in the winter, or food on the table.....
As long as they get control of raising taxes again, any end justifies the means. And any Bush blunder, anything, is happy days for them.
I pray the American people kick them out on their asses!
They root for people to lose their jobs, for not voting properly in 2000.
They root for people to lose their homes for not voting properly in 2000.
They root for people to lose their peniosns for not voting properly in 2000.
They root for anything to punish America for not voting properly in 2000.
Reminds me of Hitler in his bunker who wouldn't help move German civilians towards the Allied lines and away from the Russians because Hitler felt they deserved it for letting him down.
If I might paraphrase Ann Coulter, "Ellen Ratner is the not so affable Eva Braun."
