Instead, a president who supposedly slurred his words and forgot dictator's names sensed the extent and threat of a rare evil, as well as the remedy for its demise that had escaped his supposed betters. And so far that has made all the difference in this strange war.

Every time I hear this Gentlemen I am more impressed!

Ernest - I also saw the interview by Brit last night on FoxNews - excellent. This was the first time I'd heard Hanson's views and immediately sent me to the internet to research his articles. After reading several on National Review, I now want his book "Autumn of War". I thought his assessment of liberals floundering because they don't understand how our world has changed since 9/11 was brilliant. I also liked his predictions for 2003 - quick end to Iraq and Bush will be even stronger for 2004 election. Yes, I was impressed by Hanson.
