First off, the South never said that slavery was immoral, freeing the salves was forced upon them. What they may or may not have done if left on their own is not relevant. They missed their opportunity the day of succession without complete freedom.
Second, most of the North was long working towards a reasoned and thought out plan for the abolishment of slavery. The only reason that the more painful forced process was use in the south was because of the War.
Thirdly, You will not ever accuse me of condoning or participating in slavery. You are the worst type of human if you must revert to placing a scourge of humanity on me in order to argue. I have plainly said that Slavery was wrong.
I have spoke only of the Christians in the North and abroad who fought the practice of slavery and of the Leadership of the South who were too stupid to see the ground swell of support for the North because of their endorsement of slavery in the CSA and the expansion of slavery into the territories.
Christians have called slavery immoral for over 2000 years. Those that condone slavery and called themselves Christians were either not so or ignorant of the teachings of Christ. At the time of and preceding The War the Body of Christ was very much involved in the abolishment of slavery of any kind.
The North had many more who voiced and prayed true freedom than the South and the South lost.
Lastly you arrogant SOB, I have never disparaged the people of the south nor claimed superiority. The War had wrongs on both sides and the lost of life was not necessary. However the CSA were MORE wrong and Lost.

Such primacy; such overt posturing of superiority mandates there be an identifiable group of inferiors. You have certainly named, and scorned(in the name of God) the South as yours.
