CNN just reported US officials aren't terribly concerned, which I find hard to believe. Why don't we bomb the reactor, the way the Israelis did in Iraq?

Another feather in Jimmy Carters and the Clinton administrations cap.
BTW, Fox News is reporting this also.

Breaking News
N KOREA TO EXPEL IAEA OFFICIAL
North Korea are about to expel the International Atomic Energy Agency official from the country, reports say.
The action has come as a response to ongoing US criticism over Pyongyang's decision to reopen a nuclear reactor plant.
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is the UN's nuclear watchdog.
More follows...

Perhaps we need a new inspection team...
To: Peach
The faster we take North Korea off the map of existing countries, the less likely we are to have to deal with a world full of nuclear powers. But I'd guess that Bush will fiddle-faddle along for a while, then go to the UN, then bluster a bit. Meanwhile, North Korea will be building Nukes, and planting them in Japan and as close to our borders as it can them, if not within our borders.

Interesting; this is going to end with a mushroom cloud over this reactor or Pyongyang in the end.

If not already, then very soon. Sadddam is a thoughtful pussycat, compared to that lunatic in North Korea, who considers himself to be a god-king.

This is going to take another Bush visit to the UN and a swift kick in the ass for the Chinese.
He will call the international community on the carpet and if they don't respond, I'll bet we pull our troops out of South Korea and blockade NK.
