It is legally impossible for this girl to consent to sex, period. IMHO there are times when having a court-appointed attorney is worse than having none at all.

You're absolutely correct! This ~~shyster~~ lawyer is not working in her interest. He's more sympathetic to PP's POV, IMHO.
