President Bush and First Lady Laura are with their children and relatives at Camp David to celebrate Christmas. Today, Bush called nine American service men and women to thank them for their service to our country.
In the spirit of Christmas, this thread is devoted to Christmas wishes for the President and each other, as we celebrate the birthday of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Kayak, Your flag in the wreath pic is lovely. A friend had that same image on her Christmas cards this year.
I'd like to echo some of the sentiments others shared about how wonderful it is to have such precious Christian people in the form of GW and Laura in the Whitehouse. Lord bless them and keep them this Christmas. :) Along with all of you. I hope Barney and Spot will get the chance to have some fun playing in the snow tomorrow. Something tells me India will have no such interest ;)

Rintense,
I never respond to your daily thread, but I read it everyday. Thanks for your work and your support of our great President.
During your day on Christmas, let's all find a minute to pray for our sons and daughters in green or blue. I was in a war once during Christmas.....it's awful. Thanks....my rant.

I guess I was about 6 or 7.. kids at my school were spreading a *vicious rumor* that there was no Santa Claus! I waited until after Christmas that year and decided to ask my mom directly. hehe.
Tonight at 10:10pm Eastern, GW's Christmas address will be aired on CSPAN.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!Just taking a break from our Christmas Eve festivities to check the weather. We live in MD and were due to head toward Binghamton, NY tomorrow but don't think we will make it. So we are sitting by the fire, "making merry" and having some steamed mussels and shrimp, listening to Christmas music.
May God bless you all, keep you safe, and bring much happiness and joy throughout the New Year.
Happy Birthday, Jesus.

Thank you for the heads up, Ima!
I need to slap some makeup on this face and prepare the Hot Artichoke Dip...friends are coming in less than an hour.
Merry Christmas, everyone!

A great idea, chesty. Let's all remember and pray for those who so willingly serve their country and can't be with loved ones this holiday.
