Many of Trent Lott's defenders have been saying he's not a racist.
Of course he's a racist -- if by "racist" you mean someone who believes the government should act differently toward each individual citizen based on that citizen's skin color.

Reach out and touch someone by demonizing Southern Pubbies, as well as WASP's just about anywhere I guess that are not as secular as I. Count me out. Southern Pubbies have come a long way, have had to contend with a lot of pressures, and have done so in general quite well and honorably, which is why so many are so annoyed with Lott for negatively stereotyping them. Most of this is yesterday's news, and by "yesterday," I don't mean yesterday literally. The fact of the matter is that this sort of stuff matters less and less as time goes on. Maybe the author of this screed has missed it, but we are one nation more than we have ever been.
Let me say it plainly: what the author has said is almost totally wrong factually. Over and out.

Lott first got himself into trouble on the racism front two weeks ago. He said that in 1948 we Americans should have elected a man who wanted the government to treat whites better than blacks.
um..ahem...testing.testing...1,2,3
THAT'S NOT WHAT HE SAID !!!!!

The only racism that is acceptable is bashing white men, bashing straight men, bashing southerners, bashing white southerners, saying cracker, bashing Christians.
These things are totally acceptable in today's pc world. I've had enough. And I'm neither Southern, male nor Christian.

Mulshine has never been a fan of any religion as I recall. Looks like the Liberatarians have jumped on to the Rats "let's smear the Southern Christian" bandwagon.
Pretty much my whole family has left the North to relocate in the South. Do they hear an occasion racial slur? Yeah, rarely and no different from up North.
This is just calling a circle a square til people believe you.
Do the rats really think demonizing a large section of our country will cause such a greater voter turn out by their "oppressed" that it will be enough to offset the amount of people they p*ssed off. I don't think so.

That's exactly what Northern conservatives are up to. They're trying to rescue the Republican Party from the excesses of its Southern wing. Take a look around at most Republicans in the old Union states, and ask yourself if you would even bother walking across the street to vote for most of them.
Mulshine should know this better than anyone else -- he lives in a state (New Jersey) in which the Republican Party is such a third-rate bunch of clowns that couldn't win a statewide election against a pile of sh!t that called itself a Democrat, even if the Republicans ran Abraham Lincoln as their candidate.

Oops! Sorry! My husband is blonde. Yes, he's beautiful :) (as beautiful as the people of Rohan and as beautiful as the elves of LOTR!).

Ok Paul Mulshine, the Republicans put up with your racists remarks, since we recognized an opportunity to replace Trent Lott with someone who can stand up in the Senate against the Democrats.
Oh, we are listening very closely to our very racist citizens here in America, and taking names.
Republicans believe strongly in equality between all races and strive for a government that is 'color blind' in every aspect.
Paul Mulshine, by creating and publishing words that Sen. Trent Lott never uttered, for your own personal gains, you have exposed yourself as one among the most vile of the racists left in America.

LOL! This guy better worship your footprints for that much devotion!
The strangest blonde experience I ever had was taking a ship from Dover to Hamburg. Every single kid on that boat (maybe 40 little ones), including my own, was blonde. It was actually eerie!

By dividing the republican party along the mason dixon line the democrats win. The southern electorate is firmly in the republican camp, and they cant stand it.Lets not fall into thier trap of division. We need to stand on our morals, and quit appoligizing for a stupid statement at a 100 year old mans birthday.

I agree !! !!
...and I am: Male, Christian, Southern, White (w/ some Cherokee), Straight....
...and I'm beyond Sick-N-Tired of the ideas of
training boys to be girls
being anything but Christian
being told that I should be ashamed to be Southern
being blamed for the woes of the world, because I'm white
being called a homophobe because I refer to Sodomites as what they actually are....

Not THAT surprising. You were traversing the center of "blondedom". The "Blonde Heartland" if you will, is the area around the North and Baltic Seas in England, Germany, Scandanavia, the Low Countries, and the Baltic Countries.
The boat sounds like a family reunion in my family - except that you are missing the smattering of redheads.
