If a major war breaks out in Iraq, the first thing Rev. Stuart Fitch plans to do is pray, sending love to everyone from Saddam Hussein to President Bush. Then he'll call his congregation to church for a service. And then, perhaps, the 78-year-old Episcopalian clergyman will get himself arrested.

THE (stupid reporter didn't know enough to use the article) Rev. Stuart Fitch exemplifies the reason I left the Episcopal Church. Over two decades ago it was already obvious, even to me, that it was hopelessly ensmeshed within the serpentine coils of rank liberalism and gone apostate.

THE Rev. Stuart Fitch exemplifies the reason I left the Episcopal Church.

In early 2001 I returned to the Episcopal Church after a 35 year absence. After talking to two Santa Cruz County priests and one priestess, I found myself wandering into my local Catholic parish for a look-see. I was confirmed last Easter.
