I see one inconsistency in this story. If the Governors had been doing this (distributing gifts at the Catholic home) for the last 20 years and Davis was governor for the last 4 years, why wasn't Davis barred the last 4 years?

Hate to be a contrarian here, but is he going to bar sinners from Sunday services next?

No, I don't think that applies in this case. Monsignor Kavanagh is taking a principled stand and is denying Gray this photo op. The Monsignor knows full well it is simply a publicity stunt and the good governor could truly care less about the children.

For a hint at what the governor is up to, see THE REAL HILLARY CLINTON: Episode #2 - Children in the Hospital. BTW, Shrillary is truly the anti-Christ.

Let's all show our support of Msgr. Kavanaugh and the children who, despite all else they have had to endure, have a wonderful role model guiding their spiritual development.

"A few more hundred or thousand Church leaders standing up for what the church doctrine is may actually get the message across."

The problem is that the leadership of churches nationwide have been infiltrated with liberal homosexual marxists. They seek to change Christianity to their own perverted and satanic agenda.

And a lot of that has to do with the fact that many people who used to have religious vocations now go onto government payrolls. It pays better and is closer to their preferred religion.

I'm unapologetically pro-choice and I'm not changing my position," Davis said.

If you think it's hot in CA without air conditioning, Gray, there's another place way hotter waiting for ya.

Roman Catholic priests ought to deny communion to the pro-aborts, period.

"He's entitled to his point of view and I'm entitled to mine.

That's Protestantism not Catholicism. If Davis is calling himself a Catholic he should be publicly excommunicated. - Tom

I am sending a christmas card to Monsignor Kavanaugh with a note of support and a check "to help the children".

Excellent idea!! Thanks for posting the address. My card with check enclosed will go out tomorrow morning. We need more priests and private citizens to follow his direction.

Almost as good as Clinton being denied communion by the priest in Africa.

Actually, he was given communion by the priest, who then delivered a sermon on adultery. There was much controversy over this action.

The U.S. President, a Baptist, took Holy Communion at the Mass as a result of a decision by the South African Catholic Bishops' Conference permitting him to do so.

There was a time in Africa when he was denied communion. I saw it at the time. You have to remember, he spent a lot of time, not to mention taxpayer money, in Africa over 8 years.

"...Nuremberg Trials is exactly what the Nuremberg Files advocate..."

Well, the enemy likes to paint those at the pointy end of the spear as 'over the top', so I'll deny them the opportunity to hear me align myself with a 'controversial' group such as this.

Instead, I'll align myself with that principle of justice under which the Nazis were brought to heel at Nuremberg.

What the Nazis did was 'legal', at the time and in the place where they did it, in EXACTLY the same way that abortion is 'legal' in America today.

But there came a time when one by one these murdering bastards stood at the dock and were sentenced to death at the end of a rope by those with the power to do so.

As frustrating as it sometimes is that we refuse to learn from the past, there are also times when it's comforting to know that history always repeats itself.

I simply hope that I live long enough to see it. I have little doubt that my children will.

BANSHEE WARNING: the following is my rant for the day.

Given the current state of affairs in our Church, what is to prevent me from screaming at the top of my lungs the next time I am at Mass and I watch a pro-abort politician about to receive Communion. If the priests aren't men enough to stop them, perhaps it is time for Catholic women to be women enough to stop them. As I told someone else, I have a banshee scream that will eviscerate the flesh of evil-doers and a handbag so heavy it should be licensed as a weapon.

I am so past waiting for the princes of the Church and assorted men in miters or collars (--every deacon I know is a real prince and completely exempt from my rant--) to stand up and do something concrete about these pro-infanticide politicos that I am ready to become a one woman army. I will arm myself with holy water, Miraculous Medals, a rosary and a MEGAPHONE. Perhaps I should sprinkle blest salt everywhere a pro-abort politico is supposed to speak. Why aren't we at every press conference asking questions that will make their teeth chatter in fear. Oh, the ideas they are a -coming ....

God bless you! You have my prayers...and keep those ideas coming. The Church Militant is mobilizing, make no mistake. We've had enough.

Your respect for God, the Mass and your fellow congregants. Other than that, nothing.

Now that doesn't mean that on the steps of church after Mass as Father, His Excellency or Eminence is shaking hands that all banshees can't give the good fathers a piece of their minds in full view of the parish. Such things simply should not be done during the most Sacred of celebrations. IMHO, of course.

BTW, I have LOTS of handbags.
