What Reuters leaves out is that these Rebels are from the Muslim north. They are jihadists and Islamofascists. They are backed by the usual suspects: Liberia, Libya, etc. ad nauseum. God Bless the French and pray for their victory.

Three cheers for the French Soldiers for holding the line against the Jihad... but I do have a question for the French Government:
Did they go to the United Nations and get PERMISSION to fight this war?
Just wondering.

This article keeps talking about a "bruising clash", and the Frence "blasting" rebel forces. Then I read near the end of the article that the rebel forces consisted of three pickup trucks. Whoopee!
Or course, since it's Rruters, they could have forgotten to mention that perhaps six APCs were involved as well. Now, if it were CNN reporting this, their first report may have reported on the nuclear weapons used by the French, which they would then be forced to retract ten minutes later.
Anybody know if there were actually more than just three pickup trucks involved?

I hope the French are counting on more than just the Angel Anthony. They might want to appeal to Charles Martel and the entire Heavenly Host as well. Today Duekoue. Tomorrow Paris.
They also might want to apologize for all those Spanish jokes that the French find so hilarious, especially, "Africa begins at the Pyrenees." They may need to call on Ferdinand and Isabella before it's all over, and unless they play their cards right, they might just find that Africa--AND the Middle East and the Islamic world--extend to the Belgian border.

What Reuters leaves out is that these Rebels are from the Muslim north. Thanks, sparta. I've read several accounts of this in the national press, and not a one has mentioned the inconvenient fact that the Religion of Peace is rearing its ugly head again.
Go France!

Good point re:Islamofacists from the Muslim north and their supporters.
Also, these French troopies are not yr garden variety brie sucking surrender monkeys. These lads are 2nd Para, Legion Etrangere. A battle hardened group of professionals soldiers. Viv la Mort! Viv la Guerre! Viv la Legion Etragere!

To: Sparta
I'm surprised the French are even there, actually.
Are they coming around to the understanding that the islamists aren't their fwends?
