"use the private market to achieve social goals"
our money, their goals. now, there can be no doubt that both the Democrats and Republicans advocate socialism.

Thank you Gail. Of course, the "perfect" conservatives don't like him.
Not to mention all the pseudo conservatives who are really here from DU.
Frist is a fine mamn, but these two groups will trash him just the same. I myself am quite proud of Dr. Frist as our new majority leader.

Frist will be all for expamdimg health care, fit right in with the family business.

Look out for centrist Sen. Frist to pass a socialist health care bill of rights which will cause another major hike in the insurance premiums of all Americans forcing millions more Americans to drop their coverage. Passing another high-regulation health care bill is reportedly his top priority for the 107 Congress.

Frist is an excellent choice. The Democrats have truly bungled this affair with Lott and now here are the consequences. If they try to suggest Frist is a racist, he can smile gently and mention how he has spent his free time going to Africa to treat ill children. And it will be much the same in any other attempt to smear him - Frist, so calm, sensible and quiet - the Democrats will look the shrill and unreasonable ones, and suffer accordingly.
We all have a weakness for firebrands. I miss Lady Thatcher as Prime Minister because she could intellectually destroy any leftist that came her way. However, an alternative route for crushing the left is putting them in a position where they hang themselves with their own crass and unreasonable ways. Frist's selection is an indication that this approach is the one President Bush intends to take. So far, he's had good success with it.
Regards, Ivan
