She said she converted to Christianity. It appears she converted to ***APOSTATE*** Christianity. To side with the leftists against Israel is stinking fruit.

Like it or not, there's a definite pacifist, "turn the other cheek" streak in Christianity, and an emphasis on the poor, and the criminal. All my life, I've seen how conservatism and Christinity are at odds in many ways. Ayn Rand saw it, many conservatives refuse to see it.

Christianity does NOT mean automatically siding with Israel, or with the U.S. (two different things, IAE). Christianity means siding with victims and the poor and sinners -- of every race and religion and nationality. It means forgivenss of your enemies, no?

All my life, to the extent that I've been conservative, I've been troubled by Christianity. And to the extent that I've been Christian, I've been troubled by conservatism. I know a lot of "Christian right" fundamentalists don't have any such doubts, but I've never been that. I was raised Catholic.

Misdeeds:   Writer of the of the grossly overrated Vagina Monologues, which, according to Ensler herself, "explores the humor, pain, wisdom, and mystery hidden in vaginas." Her play has become a phenomenon despite the fact that it is a Meredith Baxter-Lifetime movie but with lots of synomyns for cooter. Has convinced literally millions of women that they derive their identity not from their thoughts, taste, actions, or beliefs, but from their hairy, smelly vaginas. Likes to think that she's being provocative by using the word vagina a lot and making lots of puns to advertise her play. e.g., "spread the word", "think inside the box." Here's a clever pun for your campaign, Eve: "This play's dialogue is tighter than a 12-year-old Thai prostitute."

Aggravating Factor:   Started V-Day, a campaign which seeks to end violence against women worldwide in five years by enlisting the likes of Brooke Shields to wear t-shirts with a red V on them. Wholeheartedly believes that asking Claire Danes questions like, "What would your vagina say if it could speak?" is the path to end thousands of years of violence. (Claire's answer: "Hooray for this!")

It is not just "Hanoi Jane" it is our entire culture that elevates these marginally intelligent artist to an exhaulted position of "expert" on a variety of subjects and situations that have NOTHING to do with their actual knowledge or abilities. Would you allow your grocer to perform brain surgery on your child? Of course not, yet we take these hacks and allow them to "testify" before Congress as "expert" witnesses because they made a movie about farming !!?? Jane Fonda has been USED yet another time by the radical left to bring credibility to their cause. You'd think she would learn. I find fault on both sides in the middle east. I also find legitimate grievences on both sides. The answer lies NOT in taking sides but in solving problems. Jane Fonda has NO expertise nor even moral authority to use the fame WE gave her for her own myopic crusade....again.... and I do not blame her as much as I blame US for even listening to her clap trap mumblings.

As I scroll through the comments I am impressed by the lack of substance and abundance of pure hate. Personal attacks and slander do not resolve anything. As I see it, it is NOT if Jane Fonda is a "traitor commie c*nt" but should we be taking international or domestic policy advise from people who are not qualified to render it.
I do not know Jane Fonda. She once got on television and half-assed apologized to the American military for her Hanoi trip. She might be a nice person who allows her "friends" to manipulate her into these fiascos. I personally think what she did in Vietnam was "treason" and she should have been tried in court. Others have been tried for lesser crimes. But, for some reason, the "system" let her slide. Now the system is plagued with her again. Alec Balwin, Jane Fonda and even other notables with whom I might politically agree should keep their mouths shut on subjects where they have no "real" expertise. WE gave them their fame, they owe it to US not to abuse that gift.

You seem to know a hell of a lot about the mind of someone you have never even met. First Jane Fonda and now me. There is no "ONE" person that comprises the "radical left"...it is an idealogy ...I have met Jane Fonda....and have mutual associates. She is no more "evil" than a host of others from Ted Kennedy to Jerry Falwell ....her main crime is gullability, failure to examine the WHOLE picture before acting/speaking and misplaced compassion. And she has been "used"... given the limited guided tour....She apologized for her Vietnam trip...she said she was wrong....that shows a certain amount of re-evaluation. Her problem is she is swimming in leftist friends and never takes the time to get any right input.She is the lefts "royalty" muttering "Let them eat cake! " while Paris burns . Read the entire comment....I state that I feel what she did in Vietnam was TREASON....She should have been tried and punished...more so than that poor smuck the American Taliban. As to "insulting all Vietnam vet"....I am a Vietnam vet...and a 30 year Army retired Green Beret.
My point was that viperous personal attacks are a waste of breath and carry no inteligent arguement.
The two points.... Do not take policy advise from a person who's sole claim to fame is appearing on TV or in a movie. They have no "expertise" just because they are famous.....and.....
