Well, OK, what else do you propose we do to supplicate them? You seem to have something in mind, so tell us.

Here is part of what that story had to say. This is Senator Murray's remarks on Senator Trent Lott.
When a student asked what she thought of Republican Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott, she let out a wry laugh and then quickly stopped herself.
``Oh, sorry. I'm not laughing,'' she said. The future of Lott, under fire for making comments perceived as racially insensitive, is in the hands of his fellow Senate Republicans, Murray said. They will most likely try to talk him into stepping down from his leadership role when they meet early next year. ``It wouldn't surprise me if he resigns as well,'' she said.
This has to be the most disgusting thing I have read on the entire matter.
Perhaps it is time for Senator Patty Murray to RESIGN

Murray stated in her complete speech that Bin Laden was a terrorist and an evil man. The gist of her speech was he's manipulated the ignorant poor people in Afghanistan to allow him to run his operations from there. Therefore, he's gained their support. No, the speech was not about how bin Laden was an evil man who manipulated the Afghanistans, the speech was about how, he might have been the single greatest murderer on US soil who ever existed but, hey, he builds SCHOOLS and we should be more like him.
And Hitler built the autobahn and turned the German economy around.

Did you not read her words? She was praising Bin Laden's actions. You missed that? It's one thing to say a villain's a clever villain who uses tactics we might do well to emulate, and another thing entirely praise him.
Sheesh. We just are not getting the quality of dolt we used to get at FR.

Heck, a whole bunch of Americans would denounce that action even after 9/11.
But we didn't see jets ramming Red Square after the Soviet occupation, did we? Why not?

I'm still waiting for a list of Bin Laden day care centers, etc. And perhaps you can check Google for our foreign aid spending over the last few decades.

She should do the world a favour and just marry the guy so she'll wear a burqu'a covering up that miserable visage...

Bin Laden certainly was not building day care centers as Murray stated, since Islamic terrorists terrorize women. Murray is not aware of the Islamic treatment of women? The United States of America has given billions of taxpayer dollars to poor countries in an effort to upgrade their standards of living. You and Murray do not know this?

Murray should be censured. America is giving more money to Arab countries than Arab countries spend on themselves!
And even if we were not, is that our responsiblity!?

Treason is a hanging offense.

Censored, schmensored! Good grief....go read the constitution and learn something about the right to free speech. I'll bet you think Lott should have been censored too.Are you the only one who doesn't know?? Lott was censored. Didn't you know, he was forced to step down from leadership. What more censorship is there?
