It is odd that this has received almost no coverage in the mainstream (see also: liberal) press. It is also odd that the comments of Senator Trent Lott, which were far more innocuous in their intent were seized upon so readily by that same press.
If you are as outraged about Senator Murray's comments as I, you can express your opinion to her at senator_murray@murray.senate.gov.

Senator Murray's comments are akin to excusing Hitler's evil cause he built autobahns. Her comments are beneath contempt. But what else can you expect from the Left Coast? When no one is looking, the Democrats act right in character.
To: DocFarmer
wow.... I would never expect this from a democrat.... did Saddam rescue any kittens from trees?

You nailed it. All evil dictators and cult leaders - from Hitler to bin Laden - are able to bribe and brainwash weak-minded people into supporting them. It looks like Patty Murray is one of those weak-minded individuals. She's urging us to not just negotiate with terrorists, but to completely cave in to terrorists and build them day-care centers, hospitals, etc. If the White House and GOP had any guts right now, they could force the mom in tennis shoes to start running for her political life. She's a disgrace to my state and a traitor to this nation.

Let this woman talk...her views will only re-inforce the disdain more and more Americans have for the liberals. Logical people can see through this b.s. very easily. Pity the people of Washington that elected her!!
To: DocFarmer
I hope the Republicans don't turn this loose. It is time they played the same game as the Dems and fights back.

Patsy for evil Murray. Another Feminist basket case.
To: DocFarmer
It is odd that this has received almost no coverage in the mainstream (see also: liberal) press. Sure is, but they (the hildabeast & other demorats) just won't let the Lott thing go. Sure, there is no bias in the news media!!!

The Dems can trash America and this is regarded as just another day in politics. So much for remembering 9-11.
To: DocFarmer
What do Feminist, Saddam, and Bin Laden have in common? They love the right to butcher the innocent and unborn.
To: DocFarmer
This is Treasonous at its root and this story should be everywhere but it is not. Murray is givning aid nd comfort to the enemy and she should be punished for it.

Poor thing was just having a bad "hair" day.
Perhaps if Ms. Murray could just suckle Osama to her breast all would be better.

I've spent some time searching the web for related articles on this subject. CNN, Fox, etc. don't seem to have anything. However, I did find this on MSNBC -
http://www.msnbc.com/local/esj/a115812.asp
Oddly enough, however, there was absoutely no mention of her comments regarding Usama bin Laden. Gee, I wonder why that is...
To: DocFarmer
Let me sound a dissenting note. Murray isn't talking so much about what Bin Laden
has done as about what we (in her opinion) haven't.
Trying to turn this from one senator's voicing an ill-considered critique of our actions into her being a supporter of Bin Laden is a stretch that will only hurt us. By all means, point out that she's wrong on the facts; but leave it there.

I e-mailed Ms Murray to say that the Islamic terrorists do not want to understand her - they want to kill her. Also reminded her that the US government is doing all it can to protect her. And noted her misunderstanding of world events. How does a person this ignorant get to be a US senator?

Did you not read her words? She was praising Bin Laden's actions. You missed that?

She's looking at 2004... she can stump the Muslim vote for fellow rats everywhere EXCEPT NY, PA, TX, the South in general, the Midwest... wait, did she actually read her focus group findings?

No... you're wrong. ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK!
If I was a Republican senator, I would drag Byrd out to the podium and say... You want KKK? Well here it is!
Murray needs the same dose. You want traitor? Well here it is!

Orono, Maine? You must be a professor at the very liberal university there. Do you agree with twhat she said? That we could follow a terrorist's lead and build infrastructure for poor countries? Do you believe that we haven't already done so in thousands of places around the world, and to what effect? Is that going to make terrorism stop?
