The Dems have succeeded in bringing the national conversation to the subject of Republican racism and the imminent danger posed by the KKK. Meanwhile, a Dem senator praises Bin Laden, and not a single Republican senator has called a news conference demanding her resignation. Are the Republicans more stupid than cowardly, or vice versa?

A couple days ago on FR there were pictures of Clinton/Gore 92 and Gore 88 campaign buttons which incorporated the C. flag. It was my understanding that they were real. (Does anyone know for sure?) If so maybe it's possible to to make an issue of them, especially the Clinton/Gore button which was essentially the Stars & Bars. I would love to see them confronted with an actual button. The looks on their faces would be priceless.

Because Lott implied he was a racist. Then not satisfied with that, he then implied that all southerners were racists, and then, not satisfied with that, he implied that all Republicans were racists. All to save his scrawny little neck.

Lott blew himself out of the water. The liberal press didn't.

The Clintons' are not innocent on race issues and both are fair game because of their recent remarks.

I think its time to really push the voucher issue. Schools which mainly serve blacks are the worst in the nation. But when it comes to real edu. reform or kowtowing to teacher unions the dems screw the black kids and pander to union $$$. Its an issue that can be very beneficial to education and to the republican party.

If the fed gov has to be involved in education (it shouldn't be but there's no going back), let's make the issue ours. Go on offense.

How does one object to another chewing his foot off on videotape? Start with fact 1: Lott, himself, implied he was a racist. Foot chewed off, gaping wound resulted which was immediately terminal (and it should have been). No need to object to the liberal press, which simply watched him bleed while he then continued to gnaw off the rest of his leg in stages.

The Clinton/Gore Campaign button featured the Arkansas State Flag, which looks identical to the picture HLL posted.

Calm down and give it a chance. Dems' BS demonizing doesn't have the legs it used to. Heck... dems had a depiction of Bush pushing an elderly woman off a cliff, and it was shown on news outlets. What happened in the election? The dems LOST elderly voters by 5 points!

Of course the dems are going to milk this thing, but the American people are not morons. They know opportunism when they see it. Hillary's comments came across as opportunist, not as a genuine criticism of the Republican party. It just made her look bad.
