Now and M's mag can go str[a]ight to you know where hell.
Fixed it for you.
So what's new?
The politics of personal destruction is the ONLY thing the DemocRats know. Destroying their opponents is their chosen method of fighting.
Ask Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas.
We need to learn how to say to the Rats "Jam it where the sun don't shine".
Well, I hope to God you are right.
I have a bad feeling that this is only the beginning, that we've only seen a shadow of what's to come.
Somebody is going to have to stand up to this - I don't think it'll be the President, because 2004 is around the corner, and he's going to need moderate votes now more than ever. If he steps in to defend somebody and they go down, he risks going down with them. Who can stand up that's on that same level? I don't know - it would almost have to be a former official/Senator/Rep that's got a lot of respect among both sides that can say "this is ridiculous, enough is enough". The fact that it's a semi-slow few weeks in the news isn't helping matters.
The worst part of all of this, is not that Lott was booted aside, and that Frist is starting to be nipped at, it's that this kind of crap will drive good people away from politics (not that there's that many left these days...). Who would want to risk having something misinterpreted, blown out of proportion, etc. and the resulting hoopla. It does show the character of the democratic party, that they are trying to build themselves up on the faults of others, rather than their own merits (if they still have any, which I doubt very seriously).
LOL !
Senator Warren Rudman, perhaps?
do you know Lotts conservative rating is almost 100%
Your mistake. You are dealing with mostly non-conservatives on this thread.
I think "we" have been saying that for a long time. It is the gutless politicians who do not have the stones to do it. Usually, the Rats will back off if someone gets in their faces and mentions an area where the sun don't shine.
