The notion of a U.S. senator singing the praises of Osama bin Laden is too far-fetched to take seriously, right?
Wrong.
Here's the Columbian of Vancouver, Wash., describing a speech by Sen. Patty Murray (D., Wash.) to a group of southern Washington state high-school students:
Murray concluded the session by challenging the students to consider alternatives to war.
"We've got to ask, why is this man (Osama bin Laden) so popular around the world?," said Murray, who faces re-election in 2004. "Why are people so supportive of him in many countries . . . that are riddled with poverty?
"He's been out in these countries for decades, building schools, building roads, building infrastructure, building day care facilities, building health care facilities, and the people are extremely grateful. We haven't done that.
"How would they look at us today if we had been there helping them with some of that rather than just being the people who are going to bomb in Iraq and go to Afghanistan?"
Coming next: Patty Murray describes how Hitler built the Autobahn.
Actually, it's true that bin Laden financed some road construction in Sudan, back when that was the headquarters of his terror network, but Murray must have a screw loose if she thinks al Qaeda has been building "day care facilities." What, to cater to all the fundamentalist Muslim families in which the husband and all four wives have to work?
Murray, by the way, was until recently a member of the Democratic Senate leadership. She served as chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in the 107th Congress.

Until Al Sharpton makes that demand of them, they will remain silent.

Wonder how she'd like to wear a burqa to show her heartfelt empathy for the Taliban....

I'd say that an utterance like this would be cause for official censure or ejection from the Senate.
Why?
Because it is a violation of her oath of office to defend the Constitution of the United Staes fopr all enemies, foreign and domestic.
Because it is treasonous - it offers aid and comfort to the enemy.
Because it is abysmally stupid - Osama bin Laden has done none of those things except for building schools (actually more like training academies) for Jihad and terrorism. But, stupidity has never been a bar to service in the Senate.
But since Trent Lott has been given such a rough ride over the past week or ten days over HIS stupid remark, I think Patty (don't Bogart that joint) Murray deserves no less.
Let's go get her.

Ann Coulter called the Democratic Party as "the Gift That Keeps on Giving". She meant that you could always count on Democrats - especially Liberal Democrats - to say things truly asinine and out-of-touch with reality. Just as Lott steps down, Murray steps up and shoots off her mouth. Now they have to disown her, but they can't, because she's the Democratic Party in the flesh.
It's their Christmas present to us.
This traitor deserves to be hung for supporting the enemy! Can someone post some pics of her? She's probably looks like the typical feminazi dyke.

Drudge has her picture up.

Mindless mutterings by the "Mom in tennis shoes," madcap Murray!!!
Makes you wonder what Scoop Jackson, the last rational Demonicrat from the State of Washington, would say!!!
She and Boxer, Fienstein, Clinton, Pillyosie, Snow are perfect examples of the "Year(s) of the Woman" electeds that are shaming this country now, by turning it into "The Gelded Age!"
These are the nattering nazi nannies of negativity, insipience and stupidity! Theirs is a pernicious power and it's in the wrong hands and not for the children either!

If memory serves, Ms Murray also receives hefty campaign cash from the fetal tissue harvesting company located in Washington State and she has pushed legislation that funds the research programs which utilize fetal tissues and harvested abortion cadavers.

This was my little rant on this Lunatic B$tch acting like a senator on another thread:
Typical insane ranting from a lunatic liberal b$tch:
"We've got to ask, why is this man (Osama bin Laden) so popular around the world?," said Murray, who faces re-election in 2004. "Why are people so supportive of him in many countries
that are riddled with poverty?
"He's been out in these countries for decades, building schools, building roads, building infrastructure, building day care facilities, building health care facilities, and the people are extremely grateful. We haven't done that.
Someone needs to ask B$tch Murray where Beeny Larden built health care facilities and schools?
I remember the picture the Afghan woman being shot in the head in a soccer field for something. I guess that Murray would cheer that event of the Taliban Thugs, who were the good friends of Beeny Larden!

This is great!
You have shown us what a Day Care Center for future Islamokazis looks like.
Of course the Day Care Center is financed, managed and staffed by Islamofascists.
To: BIGZ
Forget the republicans speaking out!
What the hell is wrong with the parents of these children and the sane voters in Washington?
They should be screaming for her to resign on talk shows, at public meetings and printing up bumper stickers that say: Impeach the B$tch, Murray!
To: MHGinTN
Good grief MHG! Is each and every political thought in your mind continually wrapped around this one axel? I share your disgust of abortion, but with you it seems the one and only evil on Earth!!!
Please look around... There are other evils and some of them approach the level of the abortion evil. We can, however depend on you to always bring in that connection to almost any horror under discussion at any time, or else, we don't hear from you, right?
To: Grampa Dave
"...and printing up bumper stickers that say: Impeach the B$tch, Murray!"So true! Now, will you please explain to me why this will not be happening??? Could it be because it is "mean?" Is this why they will say again, that "Mean People Suck"? Like they did against Dan Lungren as he wouldn't cow-tow to their pro abortion desires in a gubernatorial candidate?
I'm tellin ya. Don'tcha dare cross these prejudicial politically correct commonists, or they'll call ya a "Mean People" and make everybody think you suck, cause yer a warmonger, anti-environment, anti-choice, anti-homo, anti-immigrant, anti-whatever and an "Ugly American," at that!!!
