You think he's going to resign or die? I mean he'll be a one term president, just like his dad.

Bush shoots his wounded comrades the republicans cheer him on. Lott shot himself, in the foot. Which happened to be in his mouth at the time.

The Civil Rights leaders have certainly changed over the years, huh?

Just like Chester 'Hairpiece' Lott shot Henry Hyde and the 1998 House Managers in the back.
What comes around goes around..

...Bush shoots his wounded comrades the republicans cheer him on. Yeah, like the saying "politics is like making sausage, you don't want to see what goes into the mix" I think we've seen sausage making up close this time!

Yeah, like the saying "politics is like making sausage, you don't want to see what goes into the mix" I think we've seen sausage making up close this time! Apparently you know the full details of what went down for Lott to step down as leader? We know pretty much nothing on the agreements that were sure to have been negotiated.

We know pretty much nothing on the agreements that were sure to have been negotiated. Like there's an upside for the Republicans? Not with the media we have in this country.

I too am curious about how good this is supposed to be for civil rights. Lott just came out and prostrated himself before the gimmee crowd and said he endorses affirmative action. I realize that civil rights and affirmative action are not the same, but the gimmee crowd links them. If Lott is gone, that can't so good for affirmative action now, can it? He endorsed it - HE'S GONE!

Amnesty for millions of illegals, anyone in congress that opposes it will be labled a "racist". Yeah, there was an article on here yesterday about Bush giving the Social Security goons the green light to send money to our Mexican friends. In Mexico, not the illegals that are here. You gotta love the quest for the Latino vote!

YUP...they secretly wanted the "Face of Reparations" to be the hillbilly from Mississippi! They overplayed their hand...they secretly were trying to get more doofus Republicans to stand behind Lott, to be tarred and feathered too...the Dems weren't expecting the Republicans to live UP to their principles and values.
William Bennett has the moral authority to lead this party and when he quietly asked Lott to step aside...Lott had NO choice!

Aren't there any Conservative leaders with the guts enough to denounce Sharpton and his race hustling pimps for what they really are?
