Hey, I've got a VA-192 (back when they flew A-7s) tale for ya.
I was working late one night, getting ready for a wing maintenance inspection team visit (VA-192 was attached to Marine Air Group 12 in Iwakuni at the time. 192 was doing a high-power turn on the ground. The plane captain took his too pouch off, put it in the inlet screen, dove the intake, and reinstalled the inlet screen.
Didja notice the missing step? :o)
The next thing I know, there are sparks shooting across the flight line as a TF30 proceeds to self-destruct.
Yup, the plane captain forgot to get the tool pouch out of the inlet screen...
Care to guess what they got on the "Tool Control" section of the inspection?

Perhaps, but the attention to detail in the casting of shadows is very well done. Otherwise convincing fakes can be smoked by the ways shadow fall in the composition.

When you guys were in Iwakuni I was transitioning the chippies from A-7's to the F18. I worked on the Corsairs for about 6 months - then we got the hornets and it was real quick after that we went over to Atsugi, CVW-5 and the tip of the sword. Midway rocked.
