My wife just bought us the extended version DVD of the Lord of the Rings and we thought it really filled in the gaps in theatre release. We commented that it's too bad we won't be able to see the extended version of the Two Towers at the theatre.

Imagine, after ROTK comes out, watching ALL THREE in the extended version, end-to-end as one movie. . . 9 hours +, 4 intermissions. . .I'd easily pay 30-40 bucks for it. . .


And as an alternative, after ROTK comes out on DVD, a DVD equivalent of the same. . .
