"check his facts."

Is this code for, "this man has been proven to lie, LIE, LIE!!!!"

Look, the best thing to do about Clinton is nothing - ignore him completely - he's not important and what he says or thinks is irrelevant.

What's more hurtful to Clinton, no reaction from FReepers to his antics, or giving him credibility as the opposition?

"Have you listen to them talk lately and what they say ..it use to be all about what was best for the PARTY .. now it's what is best for the COUNTRY"

Sounds like they're heavily trolling FR, doesn't it.

It makes me wonder if I am on the same side of an argument with James Carville what must be going on.

It is obvious what is up

It is the same as when Ken Starr wanted to leave the Specail Prosecutors office and go back to Pepperdine

The Dems had already demonized him and neurered him and didn't want to have to start all over with a new prosecutor

The democrats want wimped out brow beaten Lott as ML so they can ROLL him even more than they have the last several years
They don't want to have to deal with a new ML

Lott stays and he will beholden to the dems for their forgiveness as if they were the ones insulted

Last time I checked Carville wasn't BLACK so who the hell is he to forgive Lott

I'm totally confused because Carville seemed sincere. ???

Thats because the RATs don't want Lott to step down as majority leader. They've made the fuss loud enough so that everyone thinks Lott's a racist. When the 04' election cycle starts, the RATs can brand the Pubbies as the party of racists because they are led by one - Trent Lott. If Lott is tossed overboard, they lose their only issue - race baiting.

"Boy, am I glad we decided to toss ole' Trent to the wolves on this one instead of meeting the false charge head on."

Sure we did. Lott had NUTHIN' to do with it.

I defended him, and am SICK of being included in this WE CRAP. NOW, after his BET surrender to the race-baiters, he can finish hanging himself. He's determined to anyway, the Dems have made their 'point' (they think) and still need Bends-Over-a-Lott as majority leader, so that he can continue to bend over for them.

Why is everyone so upset? When I read the headline, my response was delight.

What could be better than having Slick in the front pages as the face of the Democrat Party, saying outrageous things? The more he's out there, the better we do. He garners such antipathy that whatever he says, a large majority of people reject it.

I hope he says more, much more and I hope what he says is much more outrageous than this.

This is great. Slick's just given Lott a huge Christmas present.

ACKNOWLEDGING the United States would not be the world's most powerful nation forever might lead to a better approach in its current international relations, former US president Bill Clinton said today.

Speaking at the 2002 World Congress on the Peaceful Reunification of China and World Peace in Sydney, Mr Clinton said this "brief moment in history" when the US had pre-eminent military, economic and political power, would not last.

"This is just a period, a few decades this will last, and I think that all of us who are Americans should think about this and ask ourselves how do we wish this moment to be judged 50 years from now," he said.

"And how would we like to be treated when we no longer have this pre-eminent position and we have to work in a cooperative fashion with others to a far greater extent than we have to do today.

"It seems to me if we would think about it like that it would be much more likely to lead all Americans, without regard of their party, to making the right decisions about how we should approach a lot of these problems that we face."

The former president said he did not want to be critical of the current US Administration.

"I feel that I should be careful in what I say [but] I believe that the [current US] President has been much more interested in international cooperation since September 11th, and I take that to be a very positive sign," Mr Clinton said.

The USA will ALWAYS BE SUPERIOR TO ALL NATIONS ON EARTH because we are comprised of the best of all nations on Earth and we are still free (in spite of the best efforts of the left)to pursue our dreams and well being in FREEDOM.
