I wonder if either of you have ever had a "real" mince meat pie...
My mother in law used to make them-she ground hamburger for them. Nowadays, of course, the meat is left out and they are really minced apple pies.. I have, my granny made them that way. My mom used the kind that was packed in a jar.
Either way.....I love mincemeat! : )
