Lott's disgusting display on BET clearly demonstrated an utterly naive/ignorant understanding of politics and values. He was utterly unable to mount a defense in support of core conservative values eg on affirmative action. No, I cannot tell anyone who he should vote for, but I would hope that reasonable Mississippians would select someone who can better articulate their values and beliefs in better conservative fashion than this self centered and self concerned totally unsavvy man. Mr Lott - graciously resign the leadership position NOW! and remain in the Senate. Your loyalty to the party - and to its guiding principles demands this.

I would think the same of people in New York but you ended up with Hillary Clinton. Arkansans weren't even that stupid(I take that back SOME Arkansans ARE that STUPID, they would vote for either of them again in a NEW YORK minute).
