Hope you and Chads are feeling better. This is no time of the year to get "The Creeping Crawling Crud."
It sure would be nice if those ISP folks had a little more understanding that a day without FReeping is like a day without sunshine. Sometimes my DSL slows down to dial-up speed. GRRRR! Hard to imagine the first modem I had was a 2400 bps on an old 286 puter.

Actually, I only let him 'think' he's tricked me. You see, I'm a fox, and way too sly to get tricked by a wolf. :)

That's a cute card of the Christmas moose, especially for someone who is not in the Christmas spirit yet. How about some Christmas goodies....Will that put you in the spirit?...lol....I mean as long as someone elses bakes them, right...

Hi, feiny! Be sure and come back tomorrow to see your Roxy! Pet thread tomorrow! :)
These stories are really wonderful Christmas memories, and I appreciate all of them for taking the time to write something for me to fill this day's spot!

Wow. That "notice" poster is bestest. I can only imagine how much trouble one must cause to warrant one.
Congratulations. Heck, Billie just looks at us and wants to do mean things. : (
(Methinks they will be a Mudboy Slim poster soon.)
Could be. Might be a FTH one, too. Stay tuned. : )

Billie...how touching and fun today is!
WVNan...I loved the touched up photo of you and Uncle John. Bet that's one he is going to cherish and I bet a copy of that in a frame would make a great present! (p.s. you will have freepmail shortly!)
Just Amy. Loved your story and I think creating new traditions will help you through your loss PLUS will mean so much to your cousins, nieces and nephews. Since my mom's only sister died four years ago we've had the family Christmas at our house the weekend before and include her two sons, wives, and their collective 6 kids as well as my immediate family. It has meant so much to them and us....
DiverDave...loved your story...Hopefully some of our currently deployed military will have such fun
Aquamarine....both recipes sound yummy....We're having our after family celebration brunch next Sunday....am definately doing the coffee cake!!!
and....last but not least....loved your story "wolfie"....Our 14 year old cat has decided that Mr. D.'s clothes left on the floor is his own little litter box...and as I shared your story with him...we both thought...maybe...but then again NOT. Anyway...nice getting to know you!
To: Billie
Will do....I look forward to seeing all the freepin pets.

I loved reading your post, Dave. Just loved it. The little touches you add of things you experienced are perfect. The pine cone from Linda's mom's Christmas tree while you were overseas, the ant-riddled cookies and candies....so sweet.

The poster is Louie's creation - see, my mind doesn't think that way - it's too sweet, you know. :)
Now that you mention it, though, Mud probably DOES deserve his own poster. And Loddy...yeah, Loddy needs one too! LOL

Lady! How great to see you! : )
Louie, louie, louie, of course you would tell some outrageous story about your antics! LOL!
What a character you are, and I see have always been!
Well.....the shoe does fit. LOL
Mery Christmas, Lady. And to Chadsy. : )
Come back more often. : )

I got your FReepmails, Kay. Know those are good links, cause I saved some of the BEST lines, bars, and dividers from a link you provided!
Yes, this would have been the thread for your recipes. I'm sorry you've had things keep you away - during the ice storm - did you have an emergency generator to keep you in power and keep you warm?

Is this a photo of you dressing up your doggie?LOL Wasn't much to dress after that.
To: feinswinesuksass; ST.LOUIE1
....and the graphic of the "kitty in lights" made me laugh. I cannot imagine how he got that cat to sit still while stringing lights around him.... Well, she TRUSTED him, for goodness sakes! LOL!

Billie is Amy and Louie's pseudo Mom. LOL
And she hates us. See??LOL! After reading your Muggsy story, and hearing of your Mom's Irish temper,
I can see such drastic measures might be the only thing that gets your attention!
LOL
Well, someday I'll tell you about Mom locking me in a closet. I shoulda sued her. LOL

I may have to try that on my snake...I'll have the only slithering decoration.

I'm a fan of mushrooms, I like that dish with my steak or on my spaghetti sauce.
To: dutchess
Thanks, Dutchess. The Christmas photo of Giz this year is the sweetest thing - hey, did you know there's a "5 Signs You Love Your Pooch Way Too Much" thingie in a recent Reader's Digest? One of them is about 'dressing' him for Halloween. It didn't mention Christmas! LOL!
BTW, even though it was such a cute picture all dressed up like that, I 'cut' out ALL the animals and pasted them in various groups, so the setting, etc will not be as you sent it to me. :)

We managed to get a hotel room across town where the power wasn't out .... and we only did without for 2 days. Some in this area didn't get their power restored for 9 days! But it threw our business into chaos ..... at a time when things were already upside-down and backwards because we're in the midst of moving from a home office to a "real" office ....... long story.
Sorry I was late with my info ...... :-(
*hugs*
