Whatchoodoin up in Highlands, son? That's wine/quiche/Mercedes country up there. You should come down offen that that mountain to Rosman where us real folks live - where our idea of fun is to get likkered up and shoot us some wild pigs offen the back deck.
Seriously, when it comes to the electromagnetic spectrum, talk radio is the only band of intelligence in an otherwise vast sea of noise.

Better yet, come west across Little Fishhawk mountain and join us in the Tessentee valley. Better weather, fewer yankees.

Y'all is partly correck. They's a lotta wine/quiche/Mercedes hereabouts. Mosta them (the Mercedes) has outta-state plates. As fer yer Congresscritter, he drives a Jeep, n really lacks a good ol-fashioned steak n egg breakfast, cooked in Vasoline atta Huddle House. Mmmm good. Highlands izza lot lack Brazille. They's an upper-class, n a lower class, but no middle class. Drive down Main Street n they's half Jeeps n half Mercedes. No Chevys.
Glad ya lacked the column. Somebody hadda point out what the New York Times article was fulla horse hockey, in Col. Potter's memorable phrase.
