Lott may not be a racist. He may have changed his mind on segregation, but he did, DOCUMENTED FACT, support segregation in his earlier years. Frankly I don't care any longer.

If he remains, all legislation will be viewed through the "Race" prism in the future, and Bush will be hit with questions like these:

Excuse me, Mr. President - Your proposal to eliminate the double taxation of dividends will have virtually no stimulative effect on african american wage earners, is this an example of the racially inclusive nature of the republican party?

Excuse me, Mr. President - Since our armed forces have a larger percentage of minorities than the general public, your decision to embroil this nation into a controversial bloody war against the peaceful citizens of Iraq will have a deliterious impact on the african american community - is this an example of the racial policies of this administration? In that blacks can die for this country but you are opposed to them voting?

Sound farfetched? No, it should'nt. ABC, CBS, NBC, NYT, NPR, etc., are all drafting these questions right now. Bet on it.

Lott has to GO and Bush has to be seen pushing him out!

Well if they hadn't planned on asking those kinds of questions, they will now. We really can be the left best strategizers. They probably get their best ammunition and talking points right here.

Only because useful idiots like you will aid and abet the Democrats in their smear campaigns.
