OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM -- Senior Airman Joe Mangino, a crew chief with 171st Air Refueling Wing, maintains communication with the pilot of a KC-135 Stratotanker prior to a refueling mission. The KC-135 sports handpainted nose art depicting Pittsburgh's professional football, baseball and hockey teams -- the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins, respectively.
