"Well, isn't that just the nicest way to brighten up a hectic pre-Christmas lunatic Monday!"

Well I can't say if it's the, "nicest way..." or not, Angel.
What I can say, though?

...is that it's the truest way.

Go ahead & laugh at ol' KTC, if you want.
But I've something to say about the man even though I've never met him, in person.
His *goals* were realistic & attainable.

You realize what that made him in the long-haul, don'tcha?
Interestingly enough -- & quite paradoxically -- he was possibly the healthiest person you may know.

...psychologically speaking.

Well they can call it a 'flirtAlert'...but you brought a smile to an Irish lasses face today Landru, and that in itself is priceless (as you WELL know, having an 'Angel' by your side on a daily basis *S*)

And it shall be remembered in the History Books as OperationSuperFReep

Great idea! I've never done it, but thought many times about going out and voting for the worst RAT on the primary ballot.

BTW MUD, with your talent and imagination how about a parody on The Doors' song "Changeling?" I'm sure there is plenty of fodder in that one describe the RATs.

Pick a Tune, any Irish Folk Song!!

As twee as Danny Boy (The Derry Air) may be for an Irish Anthem, it is still one of the finest tunes ever written...and one that raises the hair on the back of my neck every time a good tenor hits the high notes on the bit..'But come ye back when summers in the meadow..''

Of course..'Noreen Bawn' is one of my ALL time favourite Irish ballads by virtue of the fact it was the one song my darlin' late departed mother sang (in every key in every solitary rendition)..but we never mentioned her musical faux pas, because she sang it with her eyes closed beneath her square rimmed spectacles, and she meant every word. *S*....I miss her doing that

But I think Jeff might like 'The Curragh of Kildare'. A fine song in itself *S*

Happygal, would ya stop braggin' on me!

but we never mentioned her musical faux pas, because she sang it with her eyes closed beneath her square rimmed spectacles,

I close my eyes, under my reading glasses when I sing too.

But I think Jeff might like 'The Curragh of Kildare'.

Jeff liked Song For Ireland as sung by a daughter...for her Mom.

"...but you brought a smile to an Irish lasses face today Landru, and that in itself is priceless"

Yes, there's great value to both having & bringing *a* smile.

As a relative youngster [:o)] that might be somewhat difficult to appreciate, now; however, I'd like you to make note of how as the years go on?
The smiles become fewer & farer inbetween.

Then perhaps you'll come to understand that as all glory is fleeting?
So it is with true happiness.

What you, I, or anyone else will never come to understand, though?
Is *why* that's so.

...or how one could possibly described it as, "flirting."

"...laugh at ol' KTC, if you want."

I laugh at KTC all the time, my FRiend...he's a great fella!! Usedta play defensive line in college and was--ALLEGEDLY--a great athlete. Then, when I met him I recruited him fer my flag football team and we usedta call him "SteveDallas" 'cuz he looked like that guy on BloomCounty with a cigarette in his mouth and a beer in his paw...on the sideline, during the game!! Then he'd put them down--cigarette on beer--and run on the field and play purty decent...LOL!!

Been tryin' to get KTC into FReepin'as he's plenty conservative, but have been unsuccessful to date. You'll recognize him when he shows up, though.
