He looks like the old store owner on the British sitcom that always has the lovely nurses around, kind of like Benny Hill's dad..

I heard Maxine Waters call him From Sturmond today on RUSH and she said she has checked Trent Lott's history and he was saying the same thing back in 1948....Trent was only 7 then..... Maxine Waters and Sheila Jackson Lee are SO alike. Lee thinks we went to Mars already... and she represents NASA area of Houston!!!!!

He is almost as old as my grandparents would be if they were still living. They would all be in their 100s now. All born in 1890s I think. My dad would be 83 now. I have one living aunt who is 87!!!!! and full of energy and life, lives alone, travels all the time. [I hope I inherited some of her vigor]

I heard Maxine Waters call him From Sturmond... I thought I heard Throm Sturmond. But anyways, later she did a 360 and corrected it.

Was it hilarious dysfunctional seminar caller 'Rita X' that was phoning in pretending to be Maxine Waters?

VP candidate? How about the old lady who wiles away her day sitting in a plastic chair in my little corner deli. The age is about right but, bbbrrrrrrrrrrr....., when I picked up my newspapers this morning, she had bandages all over her face. She'd be a good companion on a ticket with Strom.
I do give the guy credit, though. How many of us will make it to 100, even sire children at a late age?

Was it hilarious dysfunctional seminar caller 'Rita X' that was phoning in pretending to be Maxine Waters? No, it was actually Maxine articulating her intelligence all by herself.

He looks like the old store owner on the British sitcom Good catch! He does look almost exactly like Mr. Grace from Are You Being Served?

I thought I heard Throm Sturmond.
Either way, it remined me of Joycelyn Elders saying that she'd always been a huge fan of Eric Clappner (Clapton).
